Another LOLMets day in the countdown - after Willie Mays wore #24 for the Mets to close out his career, the number was only given out on special occasions, like for Rickey Henderson and for reviled scumbag Robinson Cano.
Oh, and for all-time legend Kelvin Torve in 1990. - Beg your pardon? - Kel-vin Tor-ve! - You seriously need to brush up your baseball knowledge if you never heard of all-time legend Kelvin Torve! And yes, this is the best photo of him being unwittingly stuck into #24.
