Woof. What a terrible season. I checked in the editor and every one of my primary players underperformed expectations in both batting average and slugging. For everyone other than Aramis Ramirez and Miguel Tejada, it was over 10% (and in some cases 15%) below expectations. That is certainly reflected in the runs scored being so low.

The pitching staff only allowed 20ish more runs than last year, but the bullpen was an adventure and new blood is certainly needed.

This will probably be the last post in this series. Looking back through these posts, the first half of them are pretty dry and missing any of the thought process around what I was doing.

I'm planning on picking up the story at this same juncture in a new thread that is hopefully better written and of more help to folks trying to figure out what kinds of transactions to make. I'll be sure to link it back here so folks can see the overall history of these "new Brewers".
