![]() FWIW I checked and I was surprised that the PT20 White Tigers are only the 14th winningest team without a championship, figured I'd be top 10 at least. ![]() Got some awards at least. Bagwell won the MVP for the Sun Kings, Yaz was second, and we had 3 silver sluggers. Somewhat surprisingly to me, Maddux came in second in the Cy Young. He lost to another Maddux. Basically mine was better in every way except strikeouts. My Maddux: 26-5, 2.69 ERA, 189 K, 0.6 HR/9, 0.6 BB/9, 6.8 K/9, 10.5 K/BB, 8.0 WAR, 3.05 FIP Their Maddux: 21-8, 2.74 ERA, 216 K, 0.6 HR/9, 1.6 BB/9, 7.8 K/9, 5.0 K/BB, 7.4 WAR, 3.19 FIP Mine led the conference in ERA, wins, WAR, innings pitched, shutouts, K/BB, HR/9, BB/9, BB/K, FIP, and quality starts, and was second in WHIP. But I guess 27 more strikeouts supersedes all that. For the Black Knights, Klein won the MVP and Johnson won the Cy Young, plus four silver sluggers. I actually had 3 of the top 6 in the Cy Young voting and 5 of the top 9 in the MVP. For the White Tigers, Lajoie won the MVP and Carlton won the Cy Young. Lajoie was the only silver slugger while Pesky was my only gold glove among all 3 teams though. McDaniel was the #3 reliever. TBH this feels like it was my best chance to win a championship with all of these teams and they all completely choked. Just don't see how it's ever going to happen. |

The Magpies continued to weave postseason magic as they surge to their 4th consecutive championship.
These Boots Were Made For Walking was the first opponent and they may have gotten a lot of walks, but it took them 33 innings to score their first run of the series: a solo walk-off shot in the bottom of the 15th gave them the 1-0 Game 3 win. Following on this success, they scored 4 in the first inning of the next game, but it didn't hold up. A pitcher was named series MVP which I think is a first for me. Next up, were the Alabama Farmers as expected. Although, they improved their team daily, GM Bailey was not idle. Picking up on the cheap several new players, Arenado, Betts, and Pettitte were mentioned already, but just in time for the postseason was SP Jack Quinn. My pitchers were dominant in the series proving movement beats stuff. 4 games to 1 Magpies. The Sonoma Stompers were the final challenger and although they won one more game during the regular season, you can't have too much respect for a team that slots Greg Maddux in the bullpen in favor of Mike Mussina in the starting rotation. 4 games to 1 Magpies. Notes: Carl Yastrzemski missed the triple crown by 1 HR, a category he led most of the season, but gained MVP as compensation. Greg Maddux was 27-1 winning 24 in a row at one point, but did not earn Best Pitcher because of high ERA. The Stakeout is due for a remodeling to make it more pitcher friendly in 2025. Joe Nathan now ranks as my weakest relief pitcher for 2025, but he converted 40 consecutive saves and named reliever of the year, so I can't really take him out of the closer role. Roger Peckinpaugh won Great Glove for 3B while starting more games elsewhere on the infield. |

The Marathoners ran out to a 3 games to zero lead, but have lost the last two at home. Not liking where this is headed.

B218 Surprise!
Many Competitive teams. This was one of my best wins. I was expecting just playoffs as a wildcard at the start of the season. GO SEAWOLVES! WWOOOO! ![]()

Marathoners complete the collapse and lose 3-1 in game 7, including getting 1 hit in the finale.

Hey Everyone! Season 5 was my first of Perfect Team ever. I gave it a shot, as though I got OOTP to do offline play, I've found the MLB roster management a bit frustrating (I think I'm going to restart as a minor league manager, or historic manager and just learn the managing side).
Anyway, I set up my team, then decided it was bad and went back to offline play. I opened it again on Wednesday this week and was surprised to see I had 10,000PP and my team had been playing and was only 1.5 games back of a wild card spot. I started managing, started September great (15-6!) before losing five of seven to wind up tied for the division. Won the one-game playoff, then won my divisional series 3-2, then swept the championship series to get into the Rookie Series! Unfortunately, I got swept, but still, it was fun. Looking forward to getting demoted right back from Iron League, but we'll see. |

Hounds Leashed!
Following winning a Gold Series Championship last week, the Jonestown Rockhounds followed up with a fine season in 351 Diamond League. The Hounds fought their way to a 91-71 record taking them to the top Wild Card slot. The Rockhounds made the best of making the playoffs advancing all the way to the Diamond League Finals only to lose to a great Somerset Dolphin team. Congrats to the Dolphins!

Speaking of choking, how about your White Tigers taking my Frogs down in 7 games in the Daily Gold? After escaping a 3-1 hole no less.

Been on the wrong end of some of those lately, blew a 2-0 and 3-1 lead in the second round of the Daily Silver myself. I'd update you on how I'm doing but I can't load the damn thing. ![]() |

Paragon City Heroes swept round 1 then lost 4-2 to the Oakland Athletics with all 4 losses being by one run, Bagwell was the series MVP despite the loss, the Athletics went on to win the title. This one stung.
San Angeles 70s won the first round 3-2 with Ted Simmons (who platoons at C) winning the series MVP (despite Bert Blyleven giving up 1 run in 15 IP including an 8 inning 5 hit 0 runs performance in the decider. We then got ruthlessly dispatched by the Windy City Summoners, 4-1, failing to score twice and scoring one run twice. I'm not disappointed that the 124 win Summoners got upset by the 108 win Kazuo Matsui with a much weaker looking team. Lowdown Lugnuts won the wildcard game and took the 131 win Lisboa Andorinhas to 5 games in the 1st round. We were always the outsiders of the playoffs but we managed to put up a decent fight, we lost 10-5 in the 5th game managing only 5 runs on 15 hits whereas our opponent had 10 runs on 9 hits, them stringing the hits together in the 3rd is what cost us the game
