The new Sacramento art is awesome. Love the wordmarks! Any way to get the Sacramento city (road script) wordmark? Great work!

I have to agree. I like the old colors better. The new primary and secondary logos are excellent. The CE logo should remain, but keep the old colors!

Glad to know people liked that logo. It was definitely the best part of that original set!

From up close I think the tail might need some tweaking but I'll take it. Still need to go in and add wordmarks to all of the teams in this thread, but life gets in the way (started a new job today, actually). I've also got about ten all-new teams banked up for a new project, that I will hopefully be unveiling within the next couple of weeks, depending on those other factors.

Anyhoozle, I have some tweaks for the San Antonio Marshals. Not a full rebrand per se, but close. Some polish and a more clear visual identity, I hope.

Google Drive download

Team colors: blue #071591, white #FFFFFF, red #910707

In this retooling, white gets a lot more use as almost a co-secondary color with red. There's probably more white in this set than red, actually. Anyway, what was a fairly blasé roundel now gets focused on the lone star, with baubles on its points to evoke a sheriff's badge.

A textless version of the star, plus an upgraded SA monogram so that the S doesn't look so funky. At very small resolutions, the star doesn't look as good as I thought it would, so I recommend the SA for in-game secondary use, but it's your call.

Same as above, the star doesn't look quite as good small as I woulda hoped, but it makes a nice cap for use with the road grey uniform anyway.

Finally satisfied with this SA team. If I had to guess which team gets the upgrade treatment next, I'd guess the Cherries. Not sure though, it's just as they come to me at this point.

Thank you for doing the Sacramento road script. Looks great. Great job on the San Antonio update! Looks great! Any chance for a Louisville road script soon?

I just stumbled across this looking for a couple things, and I'm so glad I did - I've used the Vancouver Cascades as a team name for years but never had a very good logo set for them, and this is outstanding, as are a lot of the others (especially the Bees, which I definitely want to use too ). Thanks for these!

Happy New Year everyone! I have actually been doing a lot of logos, caps & uniforms recently, but I have decided to wait until the next project is 100% done before I post any of it. It's about three-quarters of the way done right now, so you'll see a new thread from me before too long. Anyway, a couple of updates for teams from this project - an overdue name change for the Blackbirds and a tweaked color scheme for the Beacons.

El Paso Blackbirds

Imgur

Team colors: gray #303030, yellow #f6ce3e, silver #dadada

It probably should've been El Paso this whole time, TBH. Changing the name from West Texas gives me a chance to clean up some of the weird parts of the previous logo set, like upgrading the monogram & finally ginning up the courage to try drawing some bird feet, lol

Rather than shoehorning in a banner or squeezing the bird into a roundel, it stands by itself as the primary. Also took the opportunity to remove some of the unnecessary extra outlines on some of the bird's body parts.

Straightforward stuff here - all new cap logo with the crossed EP, and the banner from the previous version of the concept survives with a pair of sleeve patches that get used on the uniforms.

------------------------

I also have some more minor changes for Buffalo. A couple of folks made comments about the color scheme, and I've seen the light. (Get it? Beacons?) Anyway, I've changed up the color scheme a bit, hopefully making it more palatable, and put together new unis to go with.

Team colors: sky #7fb9ef, navy #0e3175, yellow #ffff88

Thanks Teeray for reminding me in the other thread (which you can check out here), I had promised to at some point zip up all of the jersey wordmarks from this series to make available. I think I found them all, and they can be downloaded in bulk at this link.

The major reason why Professional doesn't work well here in Tucson is because of the excessive summer heat. Phoenix has a retractable roof stadium, and can control the temp inside. Here in Tucson there is no such animal and I doubt that the tax payers will go for it. There have been two minor league teams here, The Sidewinders and the Padres. The Sidewinders were here for 10 years and the Padres just 3. Both left for the same reason, the intense summer sun is a killer. Believe me, I would love to see professional Baseball here! Tucson is a beautiful city and I would not live anywhere else but here.

Good god, this thread is amazing! Thank you for sharing your work. I am only on the first page too! I'll probably use the Syracuse stuff for either Montreal or Ottawa's AAA team. Thanks again!

Hey y'all, it's hard to believe it's been more than a year since my last update here. I didn't do a lot of OOTP stuff in 2021, all things considered - just been busy in general. I have two reworkings of teams from this original set, and by total coincidence they are the first two that I posted in the thread, Indianapolis and Nashville. One has a new name, the other has more original branding to go with the name that fits their city so well.

INDIANAPOLIS RACERS
Download this team

Man, I tried to make Rounders work as a name for this team, but it just doesn't work as well as the classic Racers, does it? I wanted to avoid this name when getting started out in 2019, for fear of copying what someone else had done. It makes more sense to me now to just try to do my own thing with it, since the name is a popular choice for good reason.

One of the problems with the original Rounders was not enough color contrast between maroon and black. No such issue here with a pink-tinted red replacing the maroon.

The hardest part of the whole exercise is making the letter I look good. Strangely, it's a difficult letter to work with. It took a lot of different iterations to land on this one!

NASHVILLE STARS
Download this team

This one was fine as it is - in fact, just the other day I saw a post on Reddit where someone was using my original Stars, and there were some nice comments about the set there. But it was always a riff on what the real-life Sounds were wearing, and I had an idea for a more original take that still capitalizes on what makes the Stars name good.

Not too far off from the original logo in theory, but it now features Tennessee's three stars in the guitar pick shape from the original set, rather than the standard circle.

It would be cool to see some of the plausible expansion options outside of the U.S. Mexico City, Monterrey, Vancouver, San Juan, Tokyo, Seoul, etc.

Got a couple more updates for you guys - complete overhauls for Reno and Newark. Neither team's name has changed, but that's about all that is the same.

I don't yet have OOTP23 (waiting for a sale this year), so I haven't updated anything to any new templates or added pants, but that stuff will come someday. These will definitely work if you're on 22 or earlier - past that, I don't really know, but as I understand it things are going OK.

RENO SILVER SOX
Google Drive link

The black and brown in the old set had been annoying me, so I replaced them both with turquoise, and gave both the pickaxe and sock a glowup while I was there.

Colors: light gray #BCB9AA, dark gray #42413B, turquoise #62B3AF

NEWARK CHERRIES
Google Drive link

I had built the old set on the fruit, when I should've done it on cherry blossoms the whole time (dang, I let the Nationals beat me to the punch on that one...)

Colors: pink #FDC4D0, maroon #7A0000
