Anything you put on the auction house right now is absolutely ripped out of your hands. Even a Jeremy Jeffress card I threw up. It was up for about 20 seconds before it was insta-bought.

Can you add missions at any time, or do you need to update the game to add them?
Are missions always available or can they be removed without warning at any time? |

I have ~450 unique cards plus duplicates on my collector account, hope I can either get something cool or sell for good profit. |

Penny for my own thoughts...
First of all, I was still awake when the man, myth, and legend Markus Heinsohn posted this new update/software download from Germany in the wee hours of this morning (my time). PROS--I was impressed by the depth of the UI and layout for the missions. I thought the difficulty stars, sortability options, and mission descriptions as well as the way certain cards light up are well-considered. I had a few seconds of difficulty realizing that some missions are made of other missions, but it didn't take me long to figure that out. I am also salivating over some of those special rewards cards and it'll be nice to see fresh cards in the AH (even if they'll be terribly overpriced for quite some time due to scarcity). I can do these collections later after the panic subsides. CONS--The UI for this software build was not stable on my computer (I posted about this screen flickering in the PT bug forum already) and the screen would flicker when I'd scroll or open new mission descriptions/minimize old ones. It also didn't look as there even was a scroll bar to sort through some of the heftier collections, so there may need to be some tweaking for different screen resolutions. Full disclosure: I am on a PC/Windows 10 and my screen resolution is 1901:981 according to my OOTP settings (maybe my fault or something I should change on my end?) The other con was that I was a bit disappointed that I was not able to complete a single mission before going to bed, even the one-star missions were out of reach. Now, granted, I am a F2P'er and not a pack-ripper. I also tend to sell almost all of the cards I'm not using (playing the AH is my team's main source of income). I also realize that these are called 'missions' and not 'easy button presses for things you already have and for people who refuse to spent additional money on packs'. That being said, not being able to even find Dan Gladden in the AH or Rick Dempsey or really any of the easier complete sets was a certifiable bummer. Maybe it was due to the time of day and that people were caught between updates, but I feel that if the easiest missions are going be such a time sink, then the 'missions' tab might be more theoretical to how I will end up playing the game instead of actually being an added perk/feature that I use often.

It's a little soon to get that worried. No one from North America is even home from work yet to put cards on the auction house, with the uncertainty of live rating changes monday morning and people holding historical cards before they can evaluate the missions for themselves this is likely one of the least populated auction house times ever.

Each of my 3 teams pulled a new starter from the missions I was able to accomplish with cards I already had.
2 teams accomplished 4 missions each, so in 4 packs one team pulled a Jim Bottomley and the other got a Will Smith. My other team finished 6 missions and got a Garry Maddox.

Is there a way to tell if a player is eligible for a collection besides going through all the collections?

The AH has gone mad. People want thousands for a bronze card that would complete a mission that lands you a free pack - worth 1000. I went to the next player on the list to complete mission and he was 100 PP. LOL.
IMHO many of the upper level missions seem crazy hard to complete or would cost way more PP than I have or would be willing to buy. 37 Marlins cards to get a silver Al Leiter card? Seriously? And that's a one-star mission... |

I know, I hope people aren't morons and pay these idiotic prices. I'm not a big fan of taking advantage of people and price gouging and I'm not doing it. I guess it takes all kinds to make up a world.

people pricing like that are only hurting themselves because they aren't going to be able to take advantage of the already high prices that people will actually pay

I have been selling some silver cards that were stuck to me like glue and wouldn't go away for even 120 PP just last week. Now people will rip them outta my paws for 300, 500, 700 PP. Who am I not take them on their offer?
One guy is looking for a 1994 Michael Jackson for 3,500 PP on the auction house forum. If I had one, I would have put it up immediately.

Sold a player I wasn't even expecting to - probably a 15k markup on recent average.
But it was worth me speculating, because it's a rare chance to make extra PP that I normally wouldn't get to ![]() (The key is to not spend that PP on over-odds markups myself! )

That was me looking for the Michael Jackson. When I posted there was an auction up without a BIN starting at 2,500 and one with a BIN of 9,000. I was patient and vigilant and got him for 300, yes without the 3rd 0, instead. I did buy other silvers for far too much though. I have been waiting for collections forever, was sitting on a pile of PP I accrued just for today, and LOVE Kenny Lofton. I may be a wasteful idiot contributing to the Weimar Republic, but I had my reasons. The gouging will end when those like me have their cards and supply naturally begins to outweigh demand. Every week the new live Irons/Bronzes are wicked expensive on Monday but are down to normal prices by Friday. The collection prices may stay high for longer than a week, but they won't stay high forever.

...and even in the Weimar Republic they eventually found use for the Reichsmark notes with nine zeroes and used them as wallpaper …
