Do me a favor. I tweeked my team a little for the playoff drive to see if it would improve some. Can you look at your spread sheet and tell me how it looks now? Better or worse?

You're welcome, and thanks for the nice comments. I definitely try to treat others the way you want to be treated, and help others out when you can.

I have NEVER left so many runners on 3rd base with less then 2 outs in all my other seasons put together. I have a runner on 3rd numerous times and Carew comes up and strikes out. Carew never stuck out in other seasons. I will have runners on first and third and nobody out and Carew will strike out and Hornsby will hit into a Double play. This happens once every other game it seems. Maybe I should stop watching my games. Lol. (Before the ulcer kick in)

Congratulation on clinching the division by the way! I was 5-1 before I logged on, now we lost. Would love it if we could get to .500 today, so I better stay away. |

In the American Conference whoever has the best record in the league might be sorry for it. Lol. They will have to start with maybe Bloomington or FireAnty who would be the wild card in the First round series. I know I would not be looking forward to that.

Let me say to all of you who are going to miss the playoffs and will not be going online to the forum tomorrow that it was a pleasure playing with you all this year. I hope to see you all again sometime. Also have a Happy New year. I hope the next year is the best ever.

My team came out slow from the start. Especially pitching. Made a few midseason moves that helped get me back within a few games of being promoted but it looks like it's too late now. See the rest of you next season |

Well I woke up this morning feeling good about the Playoffs thinking this could be the year and.....l look and Miss ChopNation swept me in a three game series to end the season. She sure put me in my place. Now I am back to being scared to death. Lol. I hate ending the season losing 6 of my last 10. Thank you so much Miss ChopNation for chopping me down to size. Lol. This game never seizes to give heartburn.

Yes it was and what a shame. I always feel the hot team going in wins and you don’t get much hotter then 9 in a row my friend. Hope to see you in the Perfect league where nothing will be perfect. Lol.....

After a championship in Bronze Level, I finished best record in Sliver and gold in regular seasons, but get eliminated by the wild card teams in the divisional series two times in a row. That just might be three, lol

Zorro and everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed the season this week even without a playoff birth . Definitely have some areas to improve the team as stands but I look forward to tweaking my team into a championship contender. I'm trying to decide what kind of team I want to build. Defense and pitching for sure but I haven't decided if I want to focus more on contact hitters with speed or straight power hitters. Also toying with the idea of a team composed of platoon splits and switch hitters. Ugh lol!! But I have a little time to decide. I hope to continue to participate in the same leagues with you guys.
