The game vs the Reds was rained out. Tomorrow is now a double-header. The Pirates were idle. We claimed Bob Rhoads off waivers from the Beaneaters. He is assigned to AAA. Phil Dunn was named NL Player of the Week! Edward Foley (Portland) was named Player of the Week for his A league. Vic Willis of the Browns won for the AL. Brooklyn held at #2 (behind the Senators) on the Weekly Power Rankings.
