So glad to hear about the email blast. When I heard about the MLB license, I had no idea they were that behind the game. I figured it was just that OOTP had gotten just big enough that they wanted a cut. But this? Wow. Like was said earlier, if just 1% buy, that's another 90,000 copies, and frankly I think 1% is conservative (since it's like fantasy baseball, only better).

Best of luck to Markus & Co. Best sports game on the market.

What a terrific game this version is. Not that earlier versions were garbage, but this one is the best. I was wondering if the buttons "meet the team" and "baseball cards" could be added to the minor league teams as well on the teams home page. Just a thought. Thank you. Love, love , love the game.

I saw no reason that it didn't. It says "Version 16.2, Build 9."

I installed it, played a few more weeks, got the latest All Star Votes, and there was Strasburg 3 times, just like before.

I just saw the post that said it won't affect this season. Problem solved...I hope....I'll check it next season.

Sorry if this is dumb, but can somebody go into more detail about how to update with the new patch? I downloaded the mac main server installer.

sorry I might be a schmuck here, but I can't get the patch to install for version 16.2.9.

It downloads no problem (takes 25 min, but that's okay cause I can't live without this game) but then when I go to actually install the pop-up just goes "poof".

Had no problem installing the game when released, or the first patch. Just can't get this one to go.

Any ideas? (I've tried it 2 times, same result)

It's happened twice now, so as it stands, I'm stuck with 16.1.5

Restart the computer and then run as administrator.

Okay I am a nub, but I don't know how to do that. I run the game on my personal laptop. I don't log into it I just start it up. How would I run as admin?

Right click on the exe file and choose run as admin.

Holy cow I think there is some serious mis-com here. I can't get the NEW version to install on over my old version because as soon as I start the process after download, it completely disappears.

Step 1 - Click on link to down load PC Version
Step 2 - Select Run or Save (I select run)
Step 3 - Wait for download to complete
Step 4 - Pop-Up appears after download, prompting the install process
Step 5 - I click on Next in pop-up, and the pop-up box disappears
Step 6 - Look at my screen with my best 'WTF' face, because I am now back to where I was at before step 1

Does this make more sense, or am I Looney Toons?

1. Restart your computer.
2. Download firefox.
3. Download DownThemAll!
4. Use DownThemAll to download the patch.
5. After downloading the patch, run the installer in admin mode.
