And, if no one else is, I will start compiling the set.

template
Not sure if this will work, but I put a link to the template, which is a psp. file on the NML web site. The site url is http://www.nmleague.com/index1.html
and the link is above the news section. If you cant capture it from there I will create a page with it on. I will probably also zip up the 24 pics I have done and put them on the web site.

quick note
If you use the template, I have been resizing the pics captured from facegen by 30%, to get a better fit I have gone either way about 2%.
I should also point out that after capturing the picture, I use the magic wand, then invert, then promote as a layer, so that I can then just copy the head without the background to the template, as a layer. As I finnish each pic, I save it as an jpg file, then I delete the captured pic layer so that it is ready to use for the next one.

Old time Baseball Card Template
I"ve been working on my own 'artistic' fictional set using Killebrew's 2000 card facepak. One of the ideas I had was to turn every 5th or so photo into an old time baseball card approximation.
Salivating over this project, I decided to spend the ice storm working on a 'baseball card generator' that is similar to the 'hat generator' posted in another area. Using nine of nmleague's facegen images, I put together a sample of what I'm thinking of. I"m not going to every face as a card, just sprinkle them in. Here's a sample: OK, why didn't the picture load? I clicked on 'attach image' and selected it, so why no picture? Hmm. Last edited by OldGiants; 02-18-2003 at 05:50 PM. |

50 faces done
I have done 50 faces, probably wont do anymore. The 50 I have done are located on a zip file on my league web site at http://www.nmleague.com/index1.html you should be able to just click the hyper link "PLAYER PICS" and the zip file should download. When unzipped there should be a folder with 50 pics.
Here is a sample of some of the latest.

I'm having a blast with this. With a little bit of practice, you can come up with some really realistic looking photos.

I like it. But that's only because I'm compelled to disagree with StTFrK.

Here's a trick JJD.
Rename the file. Instead of putting .jpg as the extension, make the extension .txt Geocities doesn't let outside websites link to .jpg files, but doesn't put that restriction on .txt files. Internet Explorer then somehow figures out that .txt file is actually a jpeg and shows the picture. |
