It's turning out to be a close race for first in the American League east. Should be interesting to watch as more of the season unfolds. Did Lowrie get injured, or did you decide to bench him? Scutaro, Lowrie, and Youkilis under-performing is not a great way to start the season...

Scutaro started more games at short in 2011, 102 to 47, than Lowrie in 2011 plus Scutaro is better defensively than Lowrie. Scutaro's stats are pretty close to what he had IRL. As of April 24, his stats here were .217-0-2, compared to .213-0-6. Youkilis is hitting .033 lower than what he had at this point (.218 on 4/30/11) but also has 2 HRs less. Crawford, Lackey and Matsuzaka have been over performing for me to help me be ahead of the 2011 pace. I expect Lackey and Dice-K to come down to earth but that should be offset by Lester getting out of his early season slump. I'm not going to change much, if anything at all, until at least Memorial Day since we've only played 27 games. Thanks for checking in. |
