Yeah, his outings have been on schedule with what that guys says, and have both been 2+ innings.

I would like to see him in AA, if only for the possibility he gets a win over Strasburg lol.

Certainly seems possible now there's a space on the Trenton Roster.

He's pitched 10 games so far this year:

0-0, 2.95 ERA, 18.1 IP, 5 BB, 24 K.

Still pretty impressive stats, and he's actually given up more runs against right handers (so pitching right handed).

No promotion yet? I would have liked to have seen him in AA by now.

I think they may be waiting till after the All-Star game like they did last year.

Stats update:

14 games, 0-0, 2.13 ERA, 25.1 IP, 16 HA, 7 R, 6 ER, 1 HR, 7 BB, 30 K.

Again, a <2.50 ERA, a brilliant K/BB ratio and only allowing 1 HR (He's only allowed 5 in his minor league career) are pretty good reasons for a promotion to AA.

Update:

18 games, 0-0, 2 saves, 2.59 ERA, 31.1 IP, 9 BB, 38 K.

Still only allowed one home run this season, and still has a <3.00 ERA and a good K/BB.

As I said, I'm guessing a post all-start break promotion.

Update:

20 games, 0-0, 2 saves, 36.1 IP, 2.23 ERA, 26 hits, 9 ER, 9 BB, 48 K.

48/9 K/BB is impressive, like I keep saying, I think a post All-Star promotion to AA is likely.

I hope so. This kid isn't getting any younger. I'd love to see him in pinstripes.

Yeah, he's 25 next Wednesday, so the sooner he gets to AA the better.

Crikey, you guys are right. I did not realize that he is still in A ball where he's been for three seasons now (I don't care about the nuances of A+, A, and A- levels, especially at age 25).

Sounds like the only thing OOTP would need to do to make a switch pitcher exist. Batter chooses based on his hitting ratings. Pitcher then choose based on the batter's hitting ratings. So if the batter is better vs RHP then he bats Left. The pitcher then throws left for that AB and uses his vs LHB ratings. How he does depends on the ratings battle as usual.

Well that and add "switch" to the throwing pull down.

As far as Eri Yoshida - I just create "her" in the game and ignore all the male pronouns LOL. I know there will NEVER been a female player option even if Yoshida does actually one day make a major league roster by the time OOTP 22 comes out.

Yeah. I think he should be promoted pretty soon. His ERA and K/BB alone should be enough to do it.

Well, the actual rule is that the pitcher chooses first. The problem, clearly, is switch hitters, but if you have the pitcher pitch to the batter's weakness if there's a difference in the batter's ratings vs L / R, or his own strength if there isn't (with "flip a coin" if there's no advantage) then it shouldn't be an issue.

That's a different issue lol. I agree with you though, but if she ever did make the majors I would be clamouring for it to be put in.

I haven't actually created Yoshida in a game, but I have made one or two of my female friends before. I usually add "Is a girl!" to their history.
