OK, wow, I usually don't abide "refs are biased!" claims, but I'm starting to wonder...

The Vikings are terrible tonight, but so is this officiating.
First the offensive pass interference then the missed replay overturn then that terrible illegal contact call. How bad can this officiating be... Even without the bad officiating, the Vikings would be losing...but it is absurd how bad this is. |

I expect Theismann to be annoying, but Kornheiser has sunk to that level--bickering at Joe, just generally making an ass of himself. It's really bad when I think that, right not, I'd rather listen to Theismann than Kornheiser.

He's a rookie from Alabama, but don't worry Johnson usually doesn't suck this much.

If NE puts in their third string now, Minn might be able to keep them from cracking 40

Yeah, I'm not saying the Vikings would be winning. I'm just saying that the officiating has ensured that they're not even close. Fine if we lose, but at least it could look fair.

Nemmen or whatever the head officials name is, is usually pretty good. I'm surprised at how bad they've done.

Along with Childress' play calling, his judgement this year has been terrible. Without looking at numbers, I'd be surprised if he has had 200 passing yards this year. I figured he'd be better than Culpecker and he has, but he's still been bad. Put in Tavaris Jackson...please.

They brought in Brooks? I thought Jackson was our backup.

Johnson is not a good QB. He was so successful last year because of the defense...they won those games. Johnson just didn't make dumb mistakes. And now, we can't say that. This whole season, he's somehow simultaneously checked down too early and also hung onto the ball too long then put it up in the field of play (instead of out of bounds). I mean, I'm sure part of it is that our receivers aren't getting open. But Johnson doesn't have the arm strength to put the ball more than 15 yards downfield with any kind of zip.
The Vikings are finally exposed as being weak against the pass. I've been saying for 5 years - don't even run against the Vikings. Just throw every down. And here we are. |

Chester Taylor is on my fantasy team. Fortunately I won regardless of what happened tonight, but I'm sayin'.

I'm not complaining about him -- he saved my ass last week with that 95-yarder. I was getting trounced at the time and that was like a 20-point run in our league to get me back within striking distance.
