Actually if something isn't posted in Tech Support it very well could be buried in the traffic that is OOTP 2K6 Gen Disc forum. So please follow that link above and use the search engine to verify your issue is on the list at this forum:

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...lay.php?f=3645

Since testing is ongoing, there isn't a finalized list of what makes the final cut for this patch, since Markus isn't finished yet. But do not clutter the main discussion forums with tech support issues when they have a place that our testers, Markus, and Marc can visit easily and address them. Use the Tech Support area please.

Thanks!

The scout in question's ratings are in the 90's across the board. Also the scout is the one that rated this guy in the 70's in stuff movement and control. yet his overal score was in the 20's. All my scouts have ratings in the high 80's to 90's in all catagories.... They all do things like this one a couple pitchers.

Anybody know what the deal with the disapearing rule 5 draft is?

This hopefully is being addressed, but check tech support for more details.

According to Markus, this is now fixed. It was TT#1770

How much do these posts in the non-"Dream Team" forum matter? Who gets to post in or even see the "Dream Team" forum? This just seems weird to me. I'm assuming these people paid the same amount for the game that I did.

The dream team forum is for beta testers. I have seen the beta testers, Markus, and Marc in the tech forum collecting information and assigning TT numbers to them. I am sure that from there, the bugs are discussed in the "dream team" forum.

How can problems and priorities be discerned if it does not get discussed, loudly, by the game community?

How can the developers, with the few minutes of the day, determine what to fix?

A happy medium has been developed to increase the amount of data sent to the SI guys. A lot of the Beta folders stuff is just a bunch of algebra or stare and compare of data dumps vs real life baseball stats.

Beta Team = the people who tested the game, over and over again. We go, "I wonder what happens when I try to run three copies of OOTP.exe and my antivirus, at the same time."

Dream Team = select outsiders who have valid complaints on major issues of the game. They go, "Why is the bullpen logic screwed up?"

Thanks for the clarification. Even if we couldn't post there though, it would be nice to be able to check in on the progress of some pet issues. This forum has always been open and I have been appreciative of the information even if I never posted until the run-up to this current release. The game has grown and evolved over time because of the open exchange of ideas, and keeping forum discussions behind closed doors just doesn't seem to be in line with the way OOTP works.

Sorry for veering off topic. I don't mean to be a blow-hard, I just didn't know what was meant and was a little surprised that there would be a limited access forum. Thanks for listening - I'll drop this now.

Cool...your post sneaked in as I was trying to carefully word my post so I didn't sound like a jerk. Thank you again for the clarification.
