I think Mark Whiten is still, to this day, the most added (and subsequently dropped) player in the history of fantasy baseball after that double header in which he hit like 4 hrs and 10 rbi or some ridiculous numbers

Interesting to see not only David Justice up there but Ellis Burks as well. Justice was a good player, but Burks just flat out had some skills. I loved the guy when he played with the Giants.

Great Idea, great dynasty. I love it. I love seeing Nomar up there. Can you give me a brief summary of Nomar's career so far. Any rings? MVP's? Batting titles? I am doing a 1996 Red Sox league and the main reason is Nomar and to keep Roger on the Sox. I have Nomar down in AAA and will be adding the greats little by little each year. Also can you give me an idea of Roger Clemens and what he has done. Roger was my boyhood hero and I am worried that his name is going to appear as one of the guys who was doing HGH. Say it aint so Roger.

Hoiles was drafted #6 in the 1990 player draft, but was traded less than a year later and that is where he started his career with the Minnesota Twins in 1991. He found himself an All-star in 1994 and 1998. With no gold gloves or any awards, Hoiles has quietly played his career well. All I did was import the 1986 season from Garlon and arod. I then imported Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron. I left all the settings alone and just played it out until 2009 (after Ruth retired) and that is the totals I got.

.251-.283 (low AVG/high AVG league wide)

That doesn't seem completely out of wack, pretty low lows and pretty high highs; but nothing to completely terrible.

I would love to see what Jeter and Arod have done. I hate them both so I am hoping Nomie had better career than both of them. As for The Rocket.....awful career. You know it is bad when he had to finish his career with the Brewers.

A-Rod has been from one side of the coast in Philadelphia (being drafted in 1995 by the Phillies) to Seattle (for only 56 games) down the coast to San Fransisco where he has spent five seasons. A-Rod has two years left of his 7 year $113,150,000 contact. He has six Gold Gloves (only one of which was at SS, the rest at 3B) and 12 all-star appearances. He also has won one MVP. However, he has won only one World Series with the Giants in 2005.

Jeter: Jeter really isn't worth talking about...but since you asked

...Mr. November, as the game calls him has led an above average career. After starting his career in Montreal, Jeter made a three season stop with the Yankees before heading out to Seattle. Jeter and A-Rod never played together in Seattle though. Jeter has had pretty good success hitting homeruns, his only non-double digit year came his rookie year where he hit seven. With 293 homeruns and a .317 average, Jeter is the "weaker" of the Nomar/Jeter/A-Rod SS class that was so popular in real life. Jeter hasn't won an MVP, but has been elected to nine all-star games and has won three World Series (two with Montreal, one with the Yankees). Jeter's 29 game hitting streak from 2005-2006 leads the three shortstops however - beating A-Rod's top streak by 7 and Nomar's by 1!
