Whilst it probably wouldn't happen in the US, in the British National League there is a team representing a US air base, so it does happen. http://www.baseballsoftballuk.com/sh...php?team_id=17

either way it should just show the "bin's", "de's" and "van's" instead of the B, D, and V categories again.

thats still a much different scenario...I didnt say it didnt belong in the game I just said it was interesting.

another oddity I caught was Orlando having a minor league team at two different levels, though there is more than one Orlando in this world, and probably country.

yes they are customizable, each country has a set quality number between 0-5 or 1-5 and you can edit that for each country...this is a very simple response...I dont remember the in-depth one but its on the board.

With all due respect to the IOC, were they not the organization that kicked baseball out of the Olympics? Isn't that enough reason to use PR instead of the IOC code?

Do the player reports have to be titled "Player Report for XXX"? How about just the player name?

On Top 100 prospects the BA is reported as "0.283" instead of ".283"

I can't remember if I pointed out player position is missing in Top 100 Prospects report.

In http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ng_report.html misalignment of ERA, SVs etc.

On http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ayer_5253.html you have a DH who has no fielding ratings. But should not such a DH type player have some fielding ratings although they are very low? I'm sure he (as most DHs) could play 1B or OF although very badly. More strangely for this player. If you go to http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...00_1_2006.html you find this DH (with no fielding abilities or stats) seems to have won a Glove Wizard Award for RF! This must be an indication of the database getting messed up as a number of players listed as Wizard winners didn't play the position they won the award for.

Team fielding stats on http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...r_16_2013.html the last two columns are missing headings. I see they are referenced at bottom of table but the league averages referred to seem to be missing. Players' positions are not noted in this table.

http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ries_2013.html the phrase "The Diagnosis:" is repeated. You might just replace this with "Diagnosis:"

On http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...g_leaders.html are many things misaligned.

http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...yer_10408.html

This player is from country, "REU" born in Saint-Paul, Saint Paul...how many people on this board can pinpoint exactly where that is? I'm guessing the country is Reunion?

Or that he was born in Bulgaria...
http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ayer_2980.html

Im guessing this'll be filed away in the you can't have your cake and eat it too category, but could City (Country) be put on the players page for non-US, or non-US, Canada, Britain, countries most people know the states/provinces of countries?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...players_D.html

Cristian Dias...has a space after his last name on the player list, thus it shows up as

Dias , Cristian....where everyone else is as such...
Dias, Cristian....my guess would be its either an error in the name file or someone put in the name manually and left a space. He's the only player on the page with the problem.

http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...players_D.html

Though here, a different Dias is displayed properly
--------------------------------------------------------------------

http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ayer_9133.html
http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...ayer_4150.html

These players are from my hometown...bueno.
---------------------------------------------
http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...players_H.html

Woodlawn in St. George's County throws the alignment for this page to hell.
----------------------------------------------
While browsing I saw both Augusta-Richmond, GA and Augusta Richmond County, GA...?
----------------------------------------------

Im fairly sure this has been answered, but will there be a way to set the frequency for the origin (city and/or state) of a player?

granted few could probably still pinpoint where it is with the country without having to look it up.

Alright, how about I call it a made up three letter code, that looks remarkably similar to the IOC code?

I'm guessing though it may be PUR because all of the country's are given a three letter code, like DOM on that same page is Dominican Republic.

Top of the class theasfl, Reunion it is indeed. Although it's interesting there is a player from Reunion in there, although I suppose he could have settled in the USA or another baseball playing country during his life.

EDIT: I agree with you on non-US players it should be "city, country" as "Burgas, Burgas" means nada to anyone.

I have absolutely no idea why I remembered Reunion existed...especially considering I tend to forget things 5 minutes after I say them. I guess my short term memory is ****, but my actual memory is quality.

If he didn't move to the US or another country, he must have played on a lot of one-man teams growing up.

Either Markus or Marc, I'm sure you noticed that I'd made this point in the now closed thread, but I'm not blowing my own trumpet, because if you missed it, there is a second error directly below in the Wins column there is an error where it says "1 player tied with 6" where it should be "2 players tied with 6".

For the most part yeah...but I can see it being useful for Canada and Britain at least, personally I remember a decent amount of the states/provinces/estates/districts/etc from the the non-island latin American countries with baseball (primarily because Ive been researching for a league), but yeah...thats about it as far as States are needed.

I dont know if this has been covered....

The summary career stats page is not showing correctly who the single season leader for each category is. Sometimes it shows the leader (homeruns), but other times it shows a player that is farther down the list.

I just went thru the name files, and cleared the missing spaces up. With well over 70,000 last names alone, a few mistakes could happen

The good thing is any we find are easy fixes. Search .txt file and fix

Forgive me if this has already been posted, but minor league attendances appear to be messed up. It is happening on all minor league levels with all teams. Don't know if this is part of what was screwed up from before, but thought I would post it in case it is missed.

Triple A:
http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...al_report.html
Paradise Orcas - 59,418 per game in Current Financial Overview table.

Double A:
http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...al_report.html
Lubbock Riptides - 89,016 per game in Current Financial Overview table.

Single A:
http://reports.ootpbaseball2006.com/...al_report.html
Des Moines Robins averaging 110,162 per game in the Current Financial Overview table.

Same thing in Short Season and Rookie ball, but I'm sure you get the idea

Hope this helps.
