We are 2-1 vs the Sharks this season.

The Sharks were very good in April but have come back to Endor a bit in May. They are still a great team right now and their rotation is the best in the AL. Their offense is good led by Lincoln & Simmons and they are a strong defensive team. If we can get to the starter, we will be in good shape as their pen has issues.

Kool Kat & Mighty Joe Young will sit during Game 1. They are both exhausted. Christy Mathewson has been optioned to AA for just this one game and IF Mercedes Benz has joined us and will start at 3b.

4-3 last week, 16-7 in May, 35-12 overall AL East leader 6 game lead.

Overall not a good week. When Christy came out in the 1st and Ortiz also pitched briefly, it through my pen into disarray. Thankfully we have a day off on Monday and just 5 games to finish off the month. 3 vs STY, who are good but struggling because of injuries and 2 @ BC, as usual a great team.

Positives - both C did well, Eidsvag, Wise, Kournikova, Salazar, Goddard, Russell (OBP only), Tarlac, all SP except Nøkleby, Ortiz & Tompkins all had a great week.

Negatives - all 3 of my power hitter, Young, Kat, Humbert & Tugger all had a bad week. Nøkleby, was bad and the pen was good but OPPAVG is a bit high for several.

A few changes going forward, Goddard will start full time with Russell playing every 3-4 G and as a defensive replacement. In the next month + i will start evaluating what needs we need to reach and win the BoE again. As a team we are bad overall vs LHP.. While it's doubtful Russell would be traded away, I might look at acquiring a CF who can hit LHP. i am also looking at several expiring contract SP, several of which are LHP. I like Ramos and he has pitched well overall.

AGM Bruno Scott now controls promotions/demotions for the minor leagues. He has made several changes.

Rf/Cf Nick Trzashias, 2b Nicky Shufflebotham, C Andy Sherman & RP Mark Moore among other have joined Middleton. Cf Duong is out for 6 weeks.

SP Stanford Murdick, RP Jim Dominguez, Rod Serrano & Marco Pacheco among others have joined New Chicago.

Tigris just came off of the IL, He Will join New Chicago tomorrow.

25-22 4½ game lead AL Central.

The Red Devils are a Cinderella team this year but the question remains when the pumpkins will emerge. Joe Caine is a veteran that anchors teh staff but most of the offense are relatively unknowns.

Offense - C - They have some power but they are a low AVG team with a low OBP. Medina is solid as is Trueman. Veteran 1b R.P. McMurphy is 3 HR shy of 600 but his best days are far behind him. They are weak at C and Cf.

Pitching - C - With Caine, they are better, without him they are struggling. Krause & Rankovic are good overall, after that there is a drop off. The back end of the pen is good. Getting to them is an issue.

Defense - B- - While the stats say they are not good on defense, it's hard to advance a base on any of their OF. Braim is not great throwing out runners but most of the rotation is good at holding runners. The IF defense is above average.

2036 Additions
SP Joe Caine (INJ) - Although Caine is injured i have to mention him as he is a legit ace and i heavily pursued him.

1b R.P. McMurphy - 3 HR shy of 600. He still can hit a HR but will be lucky to hit .220. He is a great leader.
SP Paul Ashe - Paul has been a bad SP the last 3 years after doing really well his 1st 4 seasons.
RP Andres Duran - Duran is a rookie and he was a SP in the minors but typically had more BB then K.
RP Anastasio Salazar - Salazar is an average MR. He has some good seasons, some bad.
RP Warner Waters - Warner (no relation to Tim & Chris) is a very good MR with odd stats. He has a good career ERS but only K's about 10 more then he BB in a typical season.
