The revamped Thrantas are currently leading the AL West. Are they better then Bird City for an entire season? Only time will tell.


Offense - B+ - after a month they rank 2nd in the AL in Runs scored, so their offense is pretty good. They have some pop and a few guys that are good at getting on base. Overall they are low in AVG.


Pitching - C- Kahn anchors the staff and while they have veterans like Thorley & Hawk, overall the rotation is just average. The back end of the pen is great but everyone in front of them are below average. Several injuries are not helping. Ellis is young but will be great.



Defense B- Parker, Denton, Phillips & Rubbele are all really good. Russell is below average and both corner OF can be run against.


2036 Additions
SS Peter Parker - Coming over from Metropolis and replacing Benji Packer, Parker has done a good job so far. He is a good leadoff hitter and is really good on D.
Lf Alvin Olinsky - Al is a average Lf and is still a rookie.
1b Ivan Fernandez - a rookie whom they acquired from Oakland. Contender for AL ROTY. He will be great.
C Jake Phillips - a veteran C with some pop and decent OBP.
C Will Denton - a good defensive rookie with some pop. should be a solid EBL C for some time.
OF Juan Garmedia - a veteran speedy 4th/5th OF.
SP Hog Ellis - 2035 #1 pick overall. He will be a superstar.
SP Hudson Hawk - an oft injured SP, who is above average when healthy.
RP Lee Fernando - a journeyman MR, who has been solid the last few seasons.
LR Brian Gillis - just a mop up guy.
MR Richie van de Bergh - any warm body is better then him.
CL Demetrio Pesaresi - a hard throwing LHP who has been a SU up til this year.

Marlboro changed their nickname this offseason to Smoke. they have been the Reds & Razorbacks also. They almost changed their name to Smoke in 2020. So far they are not hitting. They have a good offense normally, surprisingly their pitching is doing really well, so if the offense can pick it up they could finish at least at .500.


Offense - C- - They rank 9th in the AL in HR when normally they are top 3. Chicago is their best player and while he may not hit for high AVG, he is good for 35 HR. Fernandez, Blick & Martinez can also hit 25. Kewini usually had a good OBP but low AVG and can also hit 20+


Pitching - B- - the strength of this team is theior bullpen. While they have some solid SP in Tea & Lawlor, McMillan has been in the pen so far and is at best a #3. Torvund is a solid #4 and Ruiz will be a solid top of the rotation P at some point. all 6 of their relievers are top of the line.



Defense - B - Benson is an above average SS, Chicago has a great arm but little range, Martinez is hard to run on, all 3 OF are at worst, above average. Beard is also very good.


2036 Additions
Rf Riroroko Kewini - a good OBP, power & D OF with low AVG and high K. He played for Marlboro 2023-30.
C Marvin Fletcher - a rookie C, probably will be a career backup.
SP Ole Torvund - a solis back of the rotation guy. Good K/BB ratio but is prone to the longball.
RP William Allen - a journeyman off to a great start but had a 5.16 ERA last year in 22 IP.
RP Heath Lieberman - a true LOOGY, solid career
SU Harry Santos - a career 2.70 ERA with ATS 110 Saves.
MR Orlando Velez - Had an off year last year but still a good strikeout P in the pen.
CL Christopher Ribe - a very good CL, especially considering that he only throws a Sinker.
