8-1 to start the season. Swept Willowbrook & Pontiac. We have our only road trip of the month @ EC this week and then host the Parrots & Tigger for 3 games.

Offensively we are great thus far, while the pitching is just ok.

Positives: Young, Kournikova, Humbert, Russell to name just a few

Negatives: Big Train injury, although i didn;t need to put him on the DL, it's early and Ramos can fill the void. Most of the pen has struggled including Field, even vs LHB and Kurota.

SP Mario Ramos L/L #38
Ramos is back up until Johnson comes back. He can be great at times and struggle at others. If he pitches well, he could replace field in the pen.

Early on at Middleton but theres a lot to like about this team. Several players either already have ML experience or could see PT as early as next season. 1-7 + 9 could all seer PT this season or next. The rotation is average at best. While Shevyakov, Henderson & maybe Millar could eventually lay in the EBL, the other 2 are doubtful. The pen is good but not great. it will get better when Boskovic & Gerlach return.

New Chicago ( I let Rocky Top keep Montgomery as their AAA) is good but very young. Many of these layers were just drafted but almost all are among my top prospects. DeGaulle, Trzashias & issachar will all play in Delgado in the next 3 seasons. Jenkins could move tugger to 2b by 2038. The rest are unknown whether they'll play here or somewhere else.
Rotation here is also just AV, for now. Baldwin could be up by 2038, the rest I dont know. The pen outside of Tiger & Cicotte are also just average.

Ackbar has 1 great prospect in Cole, although he's young and some good prospects in Rusyl, Leoni & Pal. the best SP is here at Ackbar but most are MR for now. Murdick, Emory, Franklin & Cervade should reach the EBL in 3-4 years.

My biggest weakness is lack of ML caliber C. Ramos & Timar, defensively can do it but neither are better than a replacement backup.

5-5 1½ GB AL Central

The Caps have a new look and a slightly better team then last season. The bring back veterans like Aubuck, McGee, Harris, Snoopy, Stratton & Kraii to name a few. They strengthened their offense and pen.

Offense - C. While they have several players that can hot for high AVG, steal bases and get many Triples in Stratton, Snoopy & Nasaridzhe, they only have 1 true power threat in Otani and he's at the tail end of his career. They have 4 1b on their roster. McGee can still hit but even he's toward the final days of his career.

Pitching - B- - their top 3 are good but after Aubuck, there is a significant dropoff. Jael can win them some games but 77 BB with && k last season might not help them enough. They have Jagad and moved him to CL. This might be a great move. Duncan, Kraii & Savory are solid.

Defense - C - Mauk is a GG caliber 2b, McGee is lights out behind the dish. We can run on all 3 OF and neither 3b have great range nor strong arms.

2036 Additions
DH Shoichi Otani - 586 career HR. He hit 34 last season for Miami. He can still bring it.
3b Sergio Garcia - a rookie 3b. AVG defense AVG pop. low AVG.
Lf/Rf Patricia Aldridge - a good #4 OF
SP Jael - a solid 4/5. she only gave up 9 HR in 155 IP last season but doesnt SO many.
LR David Quintera - decent longman/ spot starter
MR Casey Savory - at 39 , he's career is approaching it's end but he was great for IGA last season.
LR K.D. Thompson - She could put up good #'s in spurts.

The Parrots have a great offense and above average pitching but play in a very tough division with Cooperstown, Lake Venus & Glenbard.They can win the division or finish as 1 of the 2 NL Wildcards.

Offense - A- Good leadoff in Taylor, Tigger, while struggling early should finish around .320 30 HR 90 RBI 90 BB. Chance is the heart and soul of this offense. Hailey is an MVP candidate. After that the talent drops off a bit but still solid.

Pitching - C+ - they lack a true ace. They have 3 solid #3's. Their pen is good but not great, yet. they do have some good horses though.

Defense - B . Chance is an elite defensive 1b, Canavan has one of the strongest arms in the NL at 3b. Hale & Guherrez are both above average. Egret has a great arm in LF & Hailey is among the best in the NL. Tigger, however has lost a bit on his range and arm in rF and can be run on at this point. Both C's can be run on but only by elite runners.

2036 Additions
Rf Tigger Johnson - Future HOFer, still has plenty of gas left in the tank
Rf Craig Chard, still considered a rookie with a strong arm and 20 HR+ power.
Rf Craig Widdup - a rookie who is a slightly better version of Chard.
SP Miguel Vargo, He has pitched out of the pen the last few seasons but if he can return to form as a SP expect a upper 3 ERA with 160 IP and 175 K.
SP Slim Pickens - went 11-10 5.62 157 IP 176 H with ATB & COU last season. My opinion, a solid #5.
RP Simon Brown - will eat up some innings but is just average.
RP Karl Clase - CL potential and was part of a good trade.
RP Matt McGraw - a former SP that gives up almost no HR.
RP Dragutin Mijatovic - a very good bullpen arm. All Star potential.
CL Boomer Berman - Not what i would consider to be an elite CL but he finds ways to get the Save.

We will also have our ring ceremony before Game 1 so Tigger can collect his hardware and he can honor him properly. i miss him but Colortown is gonna love him, especially if it leads to a playoff appearance.
