Retro Style Logos and Uniforms - Page 48

Wow, these are incredible logos. I think I made it about halfway through before my eyes were ready to give out on me.

I have a request. I'm in a new fictional league and need a nice logo for my team. Here's some info on my team:

Team Name: Attica
Nickname: Titans
Home City, Country: Athens, Greece
Stadium Name: The Parthenon
Minor League Teams:
• AAA: Athens Minotaurs
• AA: Piraeus Pygmies
• A: Chaidari Hydra
• R: Alimos Olympians

I would love to see what you can do with it.

Here are two versions. One has the region name in Greek for a bit of flair. The other has the region name in English to match the team nickname.

Another logo from Jabez's list. The 1946 road jersey seemed to use a lighter shade of blue so I used a similar shade for the second logo here to differentiate it a bit from the more traditional Boston colors in the first logo. As always, just let me know if you want to see any changes.

Although I've always thought the team nickname was ridiculously dumb, the Indianapolis Clowns jerseys are definitely among the best I've seen in the OOTP community. Great job, txranger.

Really? You know they actually WERE clowns in a sense, right? They did a lot of barnstorming in addition to their regular games. Like the Globetrotters, in fact featuring Goose Tatum who ended up more famous as a Globetrotter.

Yes, but I remain unmoved. After all, the Globetrotters weren't called the Jesters or Clowns. They could have called the Indianapolis team the Barnstormers and maintained some dignity in the name. But that's just my own aesthetic. I take my team nicknames very seriously, and I try to make them a realistic reflection of local history, geography, animal life, etc.

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure it looked okay so it's always helpful to hear what you guys think. I love the Clown set, especially the white jersey and blue hat. The red with the yellow outline really pops on the blue hat.

I re-worked one of the older logos for Bottom of the Sixth's league:
