Kangaroo, Elley Benett got lucky with two cut-stoppages and some of the guys has spoken of giving him a special welcome back next season ![]() Former Finest Jimmy Carruthers didn't give us any breaks though. I guess he never liked Stockholm much. I'm happy that WW Kotelnik has performed well for us, going 4-1-1 since we required him from the FA pool. He was (and still is) a bit of a gamble. Shane, good luck with the two upcoming rounds. Last edited by Tommysixfingers; 07-20-2008 at 03:52 AM. |

It's official - MY TEAM STINKS!!!! Clearly the Suffolk Dusk Owls are the class of the division with the other 3 teams below .500 I really don't see much improvement for Tomato City in the draft with no 1st round pick. Maybe my guys will suddenly become world-beaters when they eventually go Prime - but I doubt it. |

conference standing don't compute Something appears to be wrong with the numbers posted for Stockholm's Finest. They don't add up

One new team record was set in week 8 and 3 others were tied.
Stockholm's Finest broke the old record of Most KOs in a team match (16) held by the Haymakers and set a new standard of (18). Records that were tied:

For some unknown reason, I looked at the standings after bear made his post and the w-l-d-ko-tko numbers were all wrong in the Broughton division. All I did was delete the pic it and repost it and then all was correct.

Thought I would do much better against the Dusk Owls..yep,they are the class of the division for sure. Terrible showing by Left Jab. Sure is frustrating. Congrats to all the winners this week. Time to start looking to the draft.

Shavers going 0-2..not good. Bruno has handled old Earnie twice now. I really expected Earnie to be the class of the heavyweights this go round..boy was I wrong. Well,I hope the Dusk Owls do well representing our division. Peace.

ANNOUNCEMENT
The annual All-Star match between the Gold and Silver and the Pound-for-Pound tournament will be held after the Individual and Team championship tournaments are over. Romy will be hosting these tournys on his PC so they will not count towards any of the fighters aging or records that participate in them. No titles will be at stake during these two tournaments. Romultiltus will be posting a profile of the leading fighters for both conferences for the all-star voting either this week or at the end of week 9. All voting for the All-Stars will be sent to me by PM. You will vote for 3 fighters by preference (1,2,3) in each weight class in your own conference only. You will not be allowed to vote for any fighter that is on your roster. Points will be given to each fighter as follows: 1st place votes = 3 points 2nd place votes = 2 points 3rd place votes = 1 point The two leading point getters in each weight class of each conference will be selected to the All-Star team. I would like to see all 24 owners participate in the voting. You all will have about a month to submit your votes to me. There will also be end of the year awards to vote on and they will be conducted the same as the all-star voting. Dave puts in a lot of time to profile the fighters for the voting so let's pay him back by all of us taking part and voting. |
