MIKE "The Honkytonk Hitman" RODGERS Overall Rating = 1 (but it's a free-swinging '1'
)Hometown - Nashville, Tennesee, USA 25(20)-2-0 Rodgers fed on a steady diet of stiffs. He beat the slightly recognizable Art Jimmerson twice and retired in 2002 to focus on his counrty music career.

Great Lee! I love these packs that you put together. I'll have to sort through my unrated file folder (over 400 pics at this point) to see if I have any of your stiffs lurking about.

It may be more, I haven't checked the properties of that file in a while. I haven't posted many of them, the PWOF thread is mainly made up of file-less photos that folks other than me have posted.

I`m doing a replay of the heavyweight dividion in the 60`s beginning in 1960 and found these two missing in my collection:
Lee Williams Harold Carter (the elder) Have they been rated by someone or if not does anybody feel inclined to rate them? Thanx! |

Lee Williams
Here was a quick stab at Williams
Heavyweight Rating 5 1958-60,66-67 11 wins / 3 losses / 1 draw / 9 KO Alias: Francis L. Hometown: Boston, MA, USA Rating by: Rocco Del Sesto Defeated Bob Woodall by 7th round KO in March 1959 to win the New England HW Title then defended it in October that year defeating Billy Tisdale by 5th round TKO. After defeating Bert Whitehurst in a 10 round decision in December 1959 and fighting an 8 round draw with Don Warner the next month, Williams fought Ernie Terrell to a 10 round decision loss in March 1960. Then for an unknown reason to the author of this rating, Williams leaves the ring until he mounts a comeback in 1966! In February and April of that year he looses a 6 round decision to Don (Toro) Smith and then is KO'd in the 7th round by Roberto Davila. Williams then is abscent from the ring again till February 1967 when he fights one last time, winning by 8th round decision over a Mike Bruce. I hate trying to rate guys who fought only a few times and had a hight ratio of KO's to wins. Tends to maybe over inflate thier overall rating. |

Thanks, Rocco and ChargersFan1,
but the Harold Carter uploaded is the younger one who fought mainly in the 70s, I was looking for the elder Harold Carter. http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=024751 |

I'm not sure about the photo, but that file for the fighter ratings is for the elder Carter who fought from 1953-64. This came with the game originally I'm pretty sure and it's the same ratings as the Carter that was in the TF2001 game. Again, maybe there's a mixup with the picture and that's the Carter from the 70's? Maybe one of fighter photo experts on the boards here could confirm that or not. Rocco |
