If the Pirates are active in FA, they could be a contender next season. They have a great core of young players like 1b Bill Lacey, 2b Mike Case, 1b Mike Savage, C Hunter Parkman, Rf Kel Mitchell, 2b Wile E. Coyote, SP Ricky Silva, SP Charlie Brown, SP Briar Pidi, SU Pikla, SU Annika Sorenstrom Lf Tariq Azziz & CL Stef Oost. Now only 3-4 are superstars like Lacey, Mitchell & Parkman but that is a good core that any team would love. Add in veteran SP Shaka Zulu & Cf Manuel Tescari. Bird City should easily repeat in 2036 but Panasonic, Highland or Madison could all compete for 1 of the 2 AL WC spots next season.

took 2 of 3 from Metropolis. 2 games went to extra innings. they are a great team. Swept Madison. We finish the season 6-0 vs them.
We host Willowbrook for 3 and host Atlantis for 4 to finish out the month.


in the 3rd Willowbrook game, we will have our annual rookie/Call-up game and might do so in Game 1 vs Atlantis depending on how deep Morales goes vs WB. Ramos would start Game 1 vs Atlantis.


Rotation wise, the only P who struggled was Stupec. some could of had better OPPAVG but their ERA for the week was low. Antiga & Club had no ERA but OPP AVg wasnt great.Evans & Nokleby were great in relief.

Ramos & Tomkins were good in relief. Kurota continues to struggle as the CL.


D'Eath, Mox, Young, Eidsvag, Kournikova, Bremer & Johnson all had a great week.


Tigger hit his 1st HR since July 7th. He had 3 this week.

While i do love to beat the Warriors when we can, this series doesn't matter. Many starters will sit this series. In game 3 we will have our annual rookie/call ups game. I do hope that Bird City can beat these guys in the ALDS, as we do not matchup very well against them. They have a few new young players up in September, Saggers is a good 3b/SS that could be a 4th IF next season and Tokle is a good RP, although his stats do not support tthat.

The Sharks could rebound and be a contender next season but they have to hit FA heavily. while they have good players in Lincoln, Balto, Tak, Roberts, Santos and future good players in Simmons, Marlin & Cundy, only Lincoln is a legit power threat and Roberts is more of a #3.
