Ah ok ! But said like that, it would mean that the user defined minutes don't make any real difference ?

The previous user who posted the initial question about PP times mentioned he could not see a change between setting 50/50 and 99/1. That seems enough to just ignore the feature to say it doesn't really work as it should. ?

My Question is about international duties.... Let's say i auto sim season 1 aka 2019-2020... If I then create a GM on july 1st... is that when it comes out for new jobs for possible U18, U20 like it would season 1 or after season once they only come out if they fire their GM.. The only reason why I am asking is because I want to Auto simulate until June 2020 and then start my career then?

I don't understand why a developer appears so reluctant, or at worst disinterested, in periodically promoting their product to their user base prior to its release. Heck, at this point I'm wondering if there is even going to be a FHM 7 released at all this year?

Surely there must be some sort of up-date that can be provided.

The problem is the pandemic shutting down the NHL. The plan has always been to release the game on opening day so that the rosters would be up to date, etc... However the NHL itself is still trying to figure out when that will be, leaving FHM up in the air and wondering if they should stick with the plan or alter it. And using the extra time to improve the game overall, add new features, etc...

Because every year we get asked the same questions. And every year we answer it the same way. We have a plan. Always have. We don't announce things until we're fairly certain on every feature, and we have a firm release date in mind. Things are fluid during product development. Some stuff makes it in, some stuff doesn't. Some gets added in an update later in the year, some may get moved to another year entirely.

It's very much the same when people say "You're not listening to us about X." Of course we are. But we don't make announcements until we're ready.

But we have talked about the product some. Jeff's been dropping hints in our weekly live stream/YouTube Archive. People have learned things by tuning in. Whether or not you care to is completely your choice. But things (especially new games) take time.

Yeah, I think this is the case too. I would imagine they want to launch this when there is some hype about the new NHL season starting. I think we might have a wait on our hands before FHM 7 is out.

On a positive note, at least they'll have had a lot longer to improve the game.

While I agree with this, you have to wonder if this means that there will be less development time for FHM8 if it will be released in October. That being said, I am very excited to see what they have done in FHM 7. 6 was amazing.

Hi all, starting a new standard game with unknown GM/Coach.

I can't adjust the points for the creation of the GM when I select custom. Each category shows: - 4 + and that I have 7 points to add but none of the - or + buttons respond to add those points. Same with Coach function when 20 points are available to add. Is this a bug, or a specific game function I'm missing?

Also, at end of season my manager was awarded 5 new skill points, but none of the - or + would work to give him a coaching or GM boost.

Any feedback or suggestions?

Are you on Mac? There's a visualization glitch with Mac that we have not discovered the root cause of. Even though it doesn't show you, keep count of your clicks and it will register. If you minimize it and look at it, you should see the numbers moving as well.

That is 100% the issue. Started a new game, remembered the clicks, minimized game, then opened back up and the points were showing properly. Thanks for the help!!

Since a while now when opening the game and i click Continue Game or try to open one save manually i get a popup saying 'Invalid Database Version!' and can't get in. This only applies to one save though...

Does anyone know what this is about?

Invalid database means something corrupted. You can open up the save and try and use the backup rolling saves, labeled RS1 and RS2 and try and recover it.

A question about a problem I'm having. I'm playing as the Sudbury Wolves as the coach and GM. I'm trying to add logos for each team in the league, but I'm having trouble, specifically with getting the logos for the Ottawa 67's and the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds to show up. All the logos are in the appropriate location, are .png files and have been resized correctly. Am I saving them under the wrong name? For instance: ottawa_67's and sault_ste._marie_greyhounds? It's not really an emergency but it's kind of annoying and I appreciate the help.

How do I remove the UNF status? Can't seem to find an option using commissioner mode or the editor. My guys have been unfit for longer than an entire calendar year, so something is bugged out with it.
