Toronto Maple Leafs (142-20) vs. Winnipeg Jets (149-13)

This will be an interesting Stanley Cup Final. Only one Stanley Cup title between these two teams. Toronto is finally in the Stanley Cup Finals after 76 seasons. They are the last team to win a conference title. Winnipeg's only Stanley Cup victory was 14 years ago in 1962.

Winnipeg's run to the West title has ended San Jose's string of five in a row.

It's hard to believe that this is only the 3rd All-Canadian Final in the history of this league. The only other ones were in 1947, when Vancouver defeated Montreal, and 1957, when Vancouver defeated Ottawa.

I was sick of looking at the same fictional players' names all the time. I wanted to have a league with names that I knew. It's a little more interesting now. Now I have to find a way to distribute them among the league so that all of the teams are competitive. Having some teams with 140 wins, and other teams with 140 losses just isn't right.

If you have some names you'd like to see in this league, let me know.

We've got a close series that could go either way. Game 4 ended in remarkable fashion. The last play of the game featured Ben Stein trying to score on a single by Charlie Sheen to tie the game, but Stein was thrown out at home.

We seemed destined to go to Game 7, with Winnipeg leading 9-4 going to the bottom of the 9th. But Toronto rallied for six runs to win their first Stanley Cup. The winning run came on a bases-loaded walk by Nacho Libre.
