I was in a midterm until about 8 minutes left, so all I saw was Iowa playing like ass.

It looks like they're not aggressive enough on offense. Usually they'll get good movement and run some pick-and-rolls and backdoors to get the defense off of them a bit, and then exploit that with screens for open threes, but they're just letting the defenders hound them without consequence. That, and they have some stupid turnovers and a few open shots that just didn't fall.

They've not gotten back on defense quickly enough a few times and it has resulted in the defense being one pass behind the offense.

I'd look for them to get the ball inside to Brunner a bit in the second half, run more backdoor screens, an alley-oop to Thomas perhaps, a pick and roll here and there, and then try to get Haluska and Henderson involved in penetration. That's what I would do if I were Coach Alford.

Close if you go by points, not so close necessarily if you go by percentage of total points scored. With Iowa's defense, an 8 point lead is like a 14 point lead for a conventional team.

Wisconsin has crawled back into it anyways. I didn't think they could score that fast.

Wisconsin is a good team, but Olsen is a great tournament coach. His teams are always prepared and motivated. Could be a great finish.

Me either, that would be a pleasant surprise if they could somehow come back, most people in my pool picked Zona I think.

I've got OSU and Iowa in the Great Eight. I'd like some breathing room, please!

You've got to be feeling better now than you did 20 minutes ago!

I think both will be fine. Iowa has played as poorly offensively as I've seen, and NW St. hit a lot of lucky shots in the first half. Things should even out.

OSU has 4 or 5 really, really good players. I can't imagine them losing.

Tell me about it. I think Thad had some choice words for him at halftime.

Well these early games today aren't quite as exciting as yesterdays... hopefully Arkansas can change that.

It would be a lot closer if Arkansas understood the concept of making a free throw. Personally I wouldn't recruit players that shoot this horribly from the line, but that's just me.

Bucknell lucky to not get an intentional foul called on that mess.

The 10-point Iowa game was switched away from us here in...Iowa...to go to a 9-point game between Bucknell and ArKansas. Lame. And they still keep blackout restrictions on MMOD despite it not being on TV.
