Humbert, Young, Eidsvag, Benz, Kournikova, Bremer & Johnson all had a good week.


Mighty Joe, as i said had the best single game performance i have ever been a part of but .542 7 HR 12 RBI 12 R is among the best weeks i have ever seen. all 7 HR were against Marlboro.

We welcome Field back onto the roster. He was great at AAA and with Ramos moving into the rotation i want another LHP in the pen. I don't see Field going down to AAA anymore.



My plan is once Christy comes back to move Mario Ramos down to AAA along with Nokleby and then Ortiz will join us. this should make Middleton very formidable in the postseason.

We are 2-1 vs the Rockies this season.


I always want to beat Rocky Top. despite the fact that I am cool with Cliff Mewett and I am friends with Corbin, Bishop, Dogg, MGR Tom McCain & Ransom. It is also our inter state rivalry series. The state of Metonee is pretty much split between Rocky Top & Delgado. Plus we both have AAA teams in the state. Middleton is halfway between Rocky Top & Delgado. Montgomery is west of Delgado.the Rockies, obviously have a tom of talent. Quinn is on of the top 5 players in the game and rivals Young, Kent & Duggleby as to who is the best. Bowman Derry is having an off year and since the Rockies brought in Mcneeley, Matt Young has struggled. They have a great Ace in Corbin and a surprising rookie in Ibarra. They have the best NL CL in Cooke.

The Firebirds have fallen back in the Wildcard race a bit and now hav the Dragons & Warriors in front of them. They have been slumping in August thus far but so have we after just being swept by Rocky Top. SP Draco is a FA after this season and if Pontiac does not re-sign hi, I do not see the Firebirds being anywhere close to .500 next year. Draco has said in the past that he would like to play for Lake Venus or Panasonic.

2-4 this week, 9-8 in August, 70-39 overall 10.5 game lead AL East.


Terrible week. We lost 5 in a row including being swept by Rocky Top. The offense was stagnant and the rotation was lit up. Losing Walter Johnson for 7 weeks is going to hurt us a bit.


We have 3 ta home vs Highland then 3 on the road with Willowbrook. We have a big enough lead on Willowbrook that i am not that concerned if we lose that series but I would prefer not to let them back in the race this far into the season.


Morales moves into the rotation. I moved Otani & Lurte up 1 spot with Morales going into the 4 spot with Stupec staying as the 5 to not have both rookies in back to back spots.


Ramos was solid in his 1st start. Stupec also pitched really well this week. Mike Jackman has 5 BS and has lost his CL job to Kurota. Nokleby & Kurota were good out of the pen.

Player Spotlight
SP Vincente Morales R/R #51
Morales has given us great minor league starting pitching depth since he was traded for. He could be our #5 next season , depending on several factors. He is a solid SP but he will probably have more success as a LR.


Yamasaki moves up from AA to AAA. Middleton has a few injuries to Tarlac & Sephia as well.


Nelson Rodriguez returns from a stint at Ackbar.

The Scots have the best overall minor league system and the best offensive prospect in the game has joined them. Derry Maine is the future of the EBL. An elite defensive 3b, whose power rivals Quinn Ransom. A typical year for him should be .320 45 HR 90 BB 120 K. Within 3 years, who will be the AL best 3b, Maine or Kat?


The Scots have a good mix of veterans to help these younger players coming up but the only star is Rf Juan Valdez. on the pitching side, they have talent but no ace and the pen needs work. All in all though, i could see them challenging Bird City and Panasonic next season for 2nd and a possible Wildcard.
