WILD CARD GAME 5's
Not pushing this series from a coverage stand point because I honestly have gone in with no expectations. My pitching, beyond Miller and Garcia and Whaley, Kijani and Brooks, is still a major work in progress. If we can win a series that would be huge, if not I'll take the experience. Heart breaking loss. Weijers ties a 1-0 game with his 7th inning solo shot and the Express push 1 across in the 10th. Back to back singles and then a move to 2nd and 3rd with 1 out and I thought we were going to steal it. Swept at home after winning the 1st 2 on the road, didn't see that coming.

Ben Beard was hurt in game 5, but I didn't think it was anything serious. Well he broke a finger and will miss the remainder of the post season, which could be just 1 game if we don't get a good pitching performance. Couldn't be prouder, even after losing 4 straight. Played them tough right through the 9th in this one, but it wasn't meant to be. Corpus Christi and El Paso had what many consider the greatest post season game in history. Jonathan Lyons homers in the top of the 9th to tie it, his 2nd of the game, and then hits a game winner, his 3rd, in the 11th to even the series!

Some great finishes.
Sergio Silva has the best 7 game series, in any round, in IBL playoff history.

2032 Division Series Matchups
In the Frontier League, Alaska shoots for a four-peat. Columbus hunts their 2nd title ever (2015) while New Hampshire and New York look to make their 1st World Series appearances ever.
And in the Coastal Vegas looks to wipe out the embarrassing early exit of 2031. Baltimore is 2 years removed from being beaten by Alaska, El Paso shoots for their 2nd appearance ever (2027 loss to Chicago) and Sacramento has 2 appearances, 1 win (2018 over Green Bay) and is also the only IBL Franchise to appear in the world series as an FL Champion and a CL Champion.

Stan Hall extends what is already a hall of fame post season resume even farther. Kicking off Alaska's bid for a 4th straight title. Jesus Romano twirls a gem with 2 1st inning solo homers his only blemishes.
Sacramento stuns the IBL world with a game 1 destroying of Las Vegas and Koufax candidate Nick Curran.

Everyone evens their series, which comes as a shock in Alaska where Cisco Casas surrenders back to back solo homers leading off the 9th, breaking a 1-1 tie.
Jose Cruz makes everything right in Vegas, shutting down the Express into the 9th.

Division Series Game 4's
El Paso gets another huge game from a starter, this time Josh Jackson while in New York Jesus Romano does the unthinkable. He outpitches Stan Hall when Hubert Zmelik, a mid season pickup, hits a 2 out walk off single scoring Will Lee in the bottom of the 9th to knot the series.
While in Vegas the Express stun the IBL again, scoring 5 runs over the games final 2 frames, with Jorge Soto's 2 out 3 run homer off Esteban Fernandez proving the game winner.

Alaska moves a win away from their 4th straight LCS and the Mounaineers get big days all around as Kade Simons shuts down the Clippers.

An Alaska loss would mean a world series without the two heaviest favorites in recent memory!

DIVISION SERIES GAME 7's
Alaska gets a huge hit from rookie Jason Martin and two veterans duel in game 7 as Stan Hall outpitches Jesus Romano to give Alaska it's 4th consecutive LCS berth. Ted Shelton's 1 out RBI double in the top of the 9th broke a 1-1 tie and sends New Hampshire to the LCS for just the 2nd time in their 21 year history.

El Paso outscored 26-5 at home in the first 2 games.....
And Alaska outscores New Hampshire 23-2 with Cole Martin's 8 RBI's in the series 1st 2 games and the Avalanche destroy New Hampshire in game 2. 4 complete games between the two clubs up 2-0.
