Trust me a team that wins 98 trophies in 99 years is in a very poor league.

Add England, Holland, Spain and the Czechs to that mix. But just because 3 teams in a region dominate doesnt mean that more teams from that region should also get automatic bids. Europe (and, as you mentioned, the rest of the world) doesnt deserve them. Thats why a play-in World Cuo is better than the system we have now.

The more I read about the new West Ham owner the more I want West Ham to go down, why didn't he say before or when he took over he had no intention of keeping Pardew as manager instead of spouting off that he would back him. To me this proves his intention all along was to sack Pardew and bring in Curbishley and I'm pretty certain that Curbishley had already been made West Ham manager before they got took over.

Why wasn't Pardew given time and money.

I know this is slightly off at a tangent, but this morning I was flicking through the channels, one had a Power Rangers series on (after looking at the guide it is Power Rangers SPD).

Anyway, one of the Power Rangers looks like Mark Teixeira. I realise it isn't Tex, but whoever plays the character bears a striking facial resemblance.

And no, I never did get a reply from my letter, but then I didn't really expect one.

But other continents are getting extra slots and slots being taken away from Europe, you want to know why ? MONEY. In the European Cups extra slots are given to countries because of how the teams from that country perform, if Celtic and Rangers do well in Europe then in time Scotland would get an extra slot. So imo when and they haven't so far but when teams from Africa do well then they should be given an extra slot in the World Cup but not until then.

I have to think Curbishley was already being lined up for the job when Magnusson and whoever his partner is (I don't know his name, and he's hardly been mentioned let alone seen), because you don't normally sack a manager on the Monday and on the Wednesday you've got the permanent replacement in the door. Certainly not at the highest levels at least.

I'm not particularly worried about it to be honest. At the start I always thought "maybe it will be in today's post", but now I've forgotten about it.

He's busy, he's got a family - I'm sure not going to be like a groupie and demand a response.
And yes, I will still talk about Tex and bore you all occasionally - after all, I'm probably his only British fan.

It was just this dude in Power Rangers that looked just like him that made me mention it.

I think its nice that you wrote the letter..in this cynical world where everyone denies their feelings its great that you took a chance and told Tex that you admired him.

Euros and soccer are like Americans and basketball...snobs. They cant get their mind around the fact that there are quality teams everywhere now.

I think fans think there league is the best, and the others are inferior so they don't care about them.

The TV audiences for foreign leagues, even La Liga, are very small in this country, and very few get that much coverage (western European leagues and that is it).
