Thanks Bear. I'm always more comfortable rating fighters I've watched. Notice that I rated Brad Solomon a couple of weeks ago without having ever seen him. Now that I've seen how good he is, I ratcheted his rating up quite a bit.

I like to see your ratings on the ESPN fighters since I've usually watched the fights. It's helping me get a grasp on rating active guys.

Curley Lee was actually a pretty tragic story after he retired. He ended up killing his wife and four kids and has been in a mental insitution for the last forty years.

Thank you for the post. Never like to hear or see anything like this. As mentioned before, I wish people who choose to leave the world, would just be self-destructive and take their own lives instead of hurting their loved ones. If one feels despair and cannot bear to live, then why harm others, just take your own pathetic life. The use of a crowbar is just viscious and drowning your own kids is even worse. He could have chosen a much better option than trying to drown himself if he really wanted out of here. Reminds me of the Sopranos episode where A.J. fails to drown himself, too stupid to succeed!

Just want to give a shout out to John for his fighters here, 2 of them have won world titles in my Uni - Eduard Gutknecht surprised a lot of people (including me) by beating unbeaten WBO SMW champ, Jean Pascal over 15 brutal rounds earlier this year.

And this past weekend, Anthony Small won the IBF JMW belt via a 15 UD over defending champ - Christophe Canclaux.
