Lest I digress into a self pity snowflake special person speel, demanding my pat on the back, here are some more handcrafted CIF southern section teams representing the Inland Empire, exclusively for you ingrate unthankful OOTP diehards, I lay them all out now:

Out of the 4 hour commute known as Moreno Valley California. A gridlocked chokepoint of Los Angeles smog, and the dysfunctional reminder of California DOT incompetence, the saving grace of this bottleneck of suburbia is Box Spring Mountain, which I have observed in detail on the snailspace that is known as California Highway 60 countless times. MLB success stories Bobby Kielty, Greg Dobbs and Chris Stewart all played for this school. These guys keep one jersey to save on laundry.

The original Corona High School. Out of none other than Corona California. Yes sir, Riversides little buddy offers an Orange County experience on the other side of the Santa Ana's, as life is better the higher up the slope you get. This program produced current Red Sox reliever Joe Kelly.

This is a lot work you've put out here on this thread and while not everybody is gonna acknowledge it, I'm pretty sure they love it. Thank you for putting this together.

Thanks for the support, it means a lot to me. It's not really about the work to me, I would have done this project for my own needs anyway. What I am doing for this community is actually making these as they appear in real life, and that is where the work comes in. It's one thing to grab the teams logo and just paste it to a jersey, it's a lot more work to lift and edit their cap logos and wordmarks, or create the script and match the swash, or add the different layers to create that life like look. Much of these HS team logos and cap logos are tough to come by and the quality of the images is pretty low.


And that is why I get confused on the lack of thanks. I see the fictional threads have all this support, which leads me to believe there isn't much demand for this type of contribution.

If so that's fine, I'll save myself the time and just make some fictional basics that add more realism than the generic stuff that comes with the game. I'll get on with my life and actually play the game.

What I think I'll do with this thread is post all the work I have completed to this point and then just open it up as a request page, if someone would like a specific team or teams I'll oblige their request. Perhaps there is demand for this specific type of work in the community, its just much more of a niche market.

Representing the Inland Empire city of Colton California. The Yellowjackets have produced 5 MLB players, the most notable being 1974 Orioles 1st round pick Rich Dauer.

Out of Mission Viejo California. Trabuco Hills produced one of my all time favorite players, Nick Punto.

Located in the city of Westminster in Orange County. The Aztecs have produced 7 MLB players, with some notable names including Bobby Crosby, Gerald Laird, Ian Stewart and Ian Kennedy.

Another school out of Westminster California. Westminster is the program the current Mahle brothers played for, as well as Ryan Klesko.

Moving onto some more teams I created in the CIF Southern Section, these are located in Los Angeles County.

This is the other Serra school in California, this program being located in Gardena. Dave Nelson and current New York Mets 2013 1st round pick Dominic Smith are the Cavaliers only MLB alumni.

Your work fills a niche here, as you said, LL. We all fill a niche in this world, but many do not seem to recognize that when it comes to certain people. A lot of people are not necessarily interested, it seems to me, in niche-based work, and don't necessarily value such work as much as they probably should. Or the people who produce said work, with the Lord's leading and all, most likely, I think.

You are doing great work here, with what you have so far been able to do here, with whatever tools that God has currently and recently blessed you with, for sure. I don't know if anyone is at least a little turned off by your current avatar, but it may be part of the reason you don't seem to be getting much response back, et cetera. Of course, I could be wrong about that, but then again, I could be right too.

I have seen a lot of your work, and I may indeed use it, either for high school, college, or various professional teams, even in my fictional nation that you know of now, but I've not yet found enough good places to use a number of your sets in for a number of my saved games/dynasties. That might change very soon, though, especially if I'm able to figure out certain things well enough in the near future, I think.

Keep up the great work, and if I do indeed use your work, I'll certainly try to remember to leave thanks for the relevant items if and when I can, for sure. CD out.
