THANK YOU! It's gone. And just like that, an awful, old facegen is no longer cluttering the pack.

Brainer Bonaci
Boston Red Sox prospect Brainer Bonaci, who most recently played with the Portland Sea Dogs, was suspended through the 2024 season for a violation of Minor League Baseball policy.
"MLB has suspended the player through the end of the 2024 season for violating the Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault & Child Abuse Policy. We will have no further comment on the matter," Red Sox spokesperson Justin Long wrote in a statement. - wcvb, Boston Hope he's doing better in your save...

Tsung-Che Cheng
Scouting grades: Hit: 45 | Power: 40 | Run: 60 | Arm: 50 | Field: 60 | Overall: 40
When Cheng signed at the start of the 2019-2020 international signing period, getting a $380,000 bonus, it marked the start of stronger interest in the Asian amateur market for the Pirates, who went on to sign Hung-Leng Chang in 2022 out of Cheng’s home country of Chinese Taipei and Jun-Seok Shim out of Korea in 2023. Cheng couldn’t get going until 2021 because of the pandemic, made his full-season debut in 2022 and then really took off by playing his way from High-A Greensboro to Double-A Altoona in 2023. Cheng absolutely dominated during his time in Greensboro and while the easy thing might be to credit the hitting haven of his home ballpark, it should be noted that his 1.066 OPS on the road was nearly 200 points higher than his home mark and he held his own in Altoona once he got his feet under him. The left-handed hitter has the makings of a solid table-setter, one who makes a ton of contact and knows how to get on base. He’s not a big power guy, but he did impact the ball more in 2023, showing an ability to find the gaps for extra bases. He’s a plus runner who should be able to keep stealing bags. While Cheng has played shortstop, second and even a little third, he’s the best defensive shortstop in the system and should be able to stay there long-term. That’s where his value is, with an average, but very accurate arm, excellent hands and plenty of range. If the offensive gains in 2023 continue at the upper levels, he could be a big league regular at the premium position. - mlbpipeline

Aaron Zavala
South Salem's Aaron Zavala takes a hands-on approach to the game of baseball. When the Saxons are on the field, Zavala's DNA is on virtually every baseball that's in play. “I feel a part of every play," said Zavala, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound senior catcher/pitcher.
And every pitch. Zavala calls pitches during games, a task that is typically handled by pitching coaches even at the college level. It speaks volumes about the confidence South Salem head coach Max Price has in him. "When I'm on the mound I'm able to help myself out and use my knowledge from catching," Zavala said. Said Price: "He does a really good job of calling pitches both when he's catching and when he's pitching." Zavala was an infielder growing up, until he tried on a catcher’s glove as a fifth grader out of curiosity. It turned out to be the right fit. “I just kind of threw on a (catcher's) glove one game and got behind the plate," he said. "Since then it just stuck. It's where I've been." - Statesman Journal, 2018 He, of course is neither a catcher or a pitcher. Aaron Zavala, TX outfield prospect I'll get the last two tomorrow night. Sorry I couldn't fit them all in tonight!

Loidel Chapelli
Scouting grades: Hit: 45 | Power: 45 | Run: 55 | Arm: 50 | Field: 50 | Overall: 40
The latest Cuban prospect to emerge in the White Sox system, Chapelli was named MVP at the 15-and-under World Cup in 2016 and won rookie of the year honors in the island's top domestic league at age 17 three years later. One of a dozen players to defect from Cuba's 23-and-under World Cup team in Mexico in October, he signed for $500,000 eight months later. He tore up younger competition in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League during his pro debut, finishing third in slugging (.636) and OPS (1.084). Built like a slightly taller Jose Altuve, Chapelli's clean left-handed swing and patient approach produce a lot of hard contact. In two seasons as a teenager in Cuba's Serie Nacional, he batted .304/.419/.438, a stat line that doesn't do justice to his power potential. With his hitting ability, bat speed and sneaky strength, he could hit 15 or more homers on an annual basis. After playing the outfield corners in Cuba, Chapelli switched to second base in the DSL. His solid speed, quick hands and decent arm give him a chance to become an average defender at second. He'll be 21 this season and could make the jump to High-A to show what he can do against more age-appropriate competition.

Daniel Vellojin
Scouting grades: Hit: 45 | Power: 40 | Run: 40 | Arm: 60 | Field: 55 | Overall: 40
After going over their allotted bonus pool on the international market, the Reds weren’t allowed to spend more than $300,000 on any prospect during the 2017-18 signing period. They did hand out four six-figure bonuses, but they might have found a deep sleeper bargain in Vellojin, who joined the organization out of Colombia for just $10,000 in January 2018. A second season in the Dominican Summer League helped him get his bat going in 2019, and while he’s had trouble producing consistently at the plate since, he did reach Double-A in 2022 and opened some eyes with a strong performance in the Colombian Winter League this past offseason. While it’s taken him a while to get going, Vellojin has the chance to be a solid all-around big league backstop. Already working in his favor offensively -- even if the surface stats don’t always reflect it -- is his outstanding approach at the plate. He’s walked in 16.9 percent of his plate appearances, including 15.5 percent in 2022 across three levels. The left-handed hitter is capable of making hard contact, and there’s raw power he’s starting to tap into, with it really showing up over the winter as he slugged .597 while walking as much as he struck out. He also caught for Colombia in the Caribbean Series. Vellojin continues to improve as an overall receiver and blocker, but he has always impressed with his plus arm strength and his willingness to take charge behind the dish. It might be a backup profile, but a big year at the upper levels could change that.
