errr...I still have my Leigh RMI league going..I thought they were going down so I was looking for a new challenge..now I am not sure. I would love to take a team from the mid 90s...like a Borussia Dortmund for example...but no one puts out roster sets like they do for OOTP

Don't worry about it, it's cool - my ideas are usually crap anyway.

I doubt there will be ever historical roster sets unfortunately, because everything is hard coded (no customization) in FM, and also football worlds are much more encompassing than baseball ones.

I used to play with Doncaster Rovers in CM3 and got them through to the premiership before I lost interest.

This is far from a crap idea....the above comment, on the other hand,

.....starting so far down the league I hunger to play in some big international competitions....after 3 seasons I am only just now starting to compete for promotion to L2

Cheltenham was just promoted to L1 and I couldnt help but think that would have made you happy

I got Barrow into the Conference in FM06. And no further.

Heh, I beat Liverpool with Northwich Victoria in either the league cup or FA Cup once (can't remember which competition). In fact, I think that felt more gratifying than winning the Champion's League or the Premiership WITH Liverpool.

Yep.

Especially when in all my FM06 games they're usually down in the bottom half of League 2 or relegated.
