What's the best kind of tactial setup to run? My team runs a 4-4-2 and I personally like that. I've always wanted to try a 4-2-4, anyone know how that would work out?

It depends on your players. Tactics are really important in the game and it usually takes tinkering to get the right combination. Also, its good to have attacking tactics for home games and defensive counterattacking tacics on the road.

If you are a lower league team 442 is usually the best because the players arent good enough to carry out more complicated tactics.

Ah okay. But still I don't know why theasfl had his computer freeze because of it though. And the way the last few days have been for me, it would just continue the trend.

Well we have a very strong defense which had 9 shutouts in 15 games, but an offense that isn't very productive and only scores 1-2 goals per game with 3-4 being the most.

Also to add to what you said, I don't think many top teams use an actual 4-2-4 nowadays. It's just not beneficial.
You might see a modified version, which employs two wingers who drop back when the opposition have possession into a 4-4-2, and then when the team have possession can get into forward roles and therefore becoming 4-2-4 for a short period of time.
If you play with just two midfielders, you're basically giving up the midfield to the opposition. The only time you will see an actual 4-2-4 is when a team is searching for a goal(s) late in the game. And even then a lot of teams will actually play 4-3-3 so you can try and regain possession easier if you lose it in the attacking third.

Youy could try letting your right and left midfielders roam the attacking half of the field by right clicking and dragging the arrow to the end line on the tactics screen.

The 4-1-3-2 formation seems to be very successful in this version

Isn't as much singing as there used to be, Kop at Liverpool used to bounce when it was standing but now Liverpool as one of the quietest more boring set of fans all they sing is You'll never walk alone, song about winning 5 European Cups and Fields of Athenry which they took from Celtic.

Man Utd fans are just pitifull since they started to price out the hardcore fans, I went to Old Trafford last season watching them against Wigan and around 3,000 Wigan fans out sang 60,000 United fans all night.

Because three teams could have been playing in the UEFA Cup this week, and this was how the fixtures were scheduled back in July.
