As you wish, mon ami, was just throwing out an idea or two here, that's all. No offense or anything bad intended, of course. I'll see what I have collected for fictional nation names, as well, whether I've used them before or not at certain times, and see what may work better here, easily enough for my future games and all, when it comes to ones that may be mentioned in various dynasties later on.

I now have, or at least have had, several leagues in various dynasties, actually, from four different versions of OOTP so far, meaning versions 18 through 21 since first playing OOTP, as far as I can presently recall. I'll keep thinking of potential names to use for any future league that may be mentioned in my various dynasty reports, then, that may not conflict with planned or current leagues in said dynasties. CD, you need to complete one league and start playing it.
You have spent 2 years planning your league... it doesn't take that long.
You seem to spend all of your time searching for league logos, jerseys and caps... or dreaming about your future league.
The fun I get from OOTP is when I am actually playing games and recapping the league on my dynasty report.

Try this:

Do like I am going to do... create my ultimate league... a small league with 16 teams using the very best logos, jerseys and caps I can find... I have collected about 50 teams with real good graphics, mainly created by knuckler, txranger and a few other gifted guys and I will pick 16 of them.

I should get it up and running in a couple of weeks... I am going to use OOTP21 to set it up and then convert it to OOTP22 later this year when that version is perfected, refined and made stable.

Find your 16 favorite teams in your huge collection of logos, jerseys and caps and create two leagues of 8 teams each... keep it simple.

And play it... even write it up in a Dynasty League on the OOTP Dynasty Forum.

Forget about the Islandian Pro Alliance and create your own world of baseball using OOTP... if some of the IPA teams have great logos, jerseys and caps, then select a few of them for your new leagues

Create a small league... and play it... and enjoy the game.

You spend too much time in this thread, debating with me about colors, shading, fonts, styles and tastes... spending hours making graphics that only you "might" use one of these days in the future... I am wasting your time...I will use only one Hillsboro Blazers Jersey and one Hillsboro hat that you made for me... I don't plan to use any of the White River set you made... didn't like the finished products... poor shading, poor letter separation... don't think you used my colors all of the time... I liked what I made for the Rascals better than yours... sorry... it is much easier just for me to do my own IPA teams rather than try to guide you step-by-step through each jersey and cap... I think I can use my time better and you can too.

Make better use of your time... and enjoy the world of OOTP baseball by actually playing out the games and reporting on them if you would like to... or just design a league and play it... don't do a Dynasty League unless you really enjoy writing it..

How about Eudach and Gerofo for a potential national name, at least in its short form, then? Of course, I'll need a new national flag or two, but maybe I or someone else can make it easily enough somehow. Whether here or elsewhere, that is. Please let me know what you think, EC. Thank you. CD out.

My longest save is now in its 42nd or 43rd season at this point, I believe, having started in 1871, and now being in 1912, if memory serves, and I created it in 18, for that matter. I went back to my latest backup for that dynasty, when things didn't go as expected around the end of the 1912 season, which is when the Federal League comes into the game.

I do hope to eventually go back to that dynasty, of course, but just haven't yet, for various reasons. I believe it's my Fields of the Lord dynasty, which I may have mentioned any number of times before on the forums here, I think. But I'd have to check that again to be sure.

In any case, I had started in 1871 for that dynasty, and made it until about 1912 or so before I went back to my last backup for it when unexpected things happened for it. In that dynasty, I had won 14 straight pennants in the National League, but only took nine overall titles in that time, as the GM/Manager of the St. Louis National League team. When last I left that dynasty, it was late in the 1912 season, if memory serves, and Toad Ramsey had the pitching wins record of 709 career wins in it.

So, yes, I have done long-running saves before. Maybe not as often as I've liked, but I surely have done them, EC. I also do other things in my life, at times, which makes it harder sometimes to just play the various OOTP/FHM games I have or do play, for instance.

Actually, I think it's something along the lines of Storyteller's Dynasty 001 that is my longest dynasty to date, name-wise, dating back to OOTP 18. I'll show you some screenshots, although I don't think I created a related dynasty thread for it, unless it got combined with other threads of mine here on the forums, which is entirely possible. CD, it is not necessary to spend time posting proofs of your leagues.

Just say that you have have a long-running league of 50 years and that makes your point fine.

I know you tried very hard to follow my instructions and you were very kind to make the revisions I requested... after all was said and done, I prefer my jerseys to yours... and it was for minor reasons... shading and letter spacing... you did them fine... I am just picky and hard-to-please... that's why I go and find the standout jerseys and logos that have already been created.

I am really looking forward to my new North Island League and its excellent graphics.

If you like those names, that is all that matters.
Make your own flags, logos, jerseys and caps.
That is the second-best way to get them... the best way to get them is to find the good ones that have already been done and use them.
That's what I do.

I don't see many people making flags on the Mods Forum.
You will probably have to do them yourself, if you wanted to..
You might just use real country flags... I don't know much about flags, but I don't think they have the country's name on it... you could use the US flag for a fictional country.

I'm going to call my public version or versions of the IPA the Eudageron Baseball Federation, I think, with an abbreviation of EBF, at least at first. Even when it comes to the quickstart I'm still working on, whenever time permits and all, of course, out of honest respect for you here. Especially if and when it comes to talking about it or reporting about it in any or all potential dynasty threads I may create in the future, to the best of my ability.

I too am rather picky and all, just like you. Hopefully I've been able to do much better about such things around here since all that trouble I caused quite a while ago now, of course.

The two subleagues for the top level of the EBF will be the Gerofon Baseball Guild and the Eudachan Baseball Guild, for your information. They will be based in the regions of Eudach and Gerofo. I have made up a map or two related to the relevant regions. The islands in yellow will be islands belonging to Eudach, and the islands in red will be islands belonging to Gerofo. I don't know just where each place represented by the teams in the EBF's framework will be located yet on those islands, but I'll figure that out later, as time permits and all.

Here's a map showing the areas in question here, EC. Of course, it will need to be worked on or improved later, if and whenever possible and all. Talk more later. Please take care and all, I hope, my friend. CD out.

Hopefully I'll be able to finish work on the quickstart that I've been working on soon, and somehow make it possible for others to try it out and all. I don't know how much more work I'll have to do for it, mind you, but if possible, I'd like to try and release it by the end of May, for sure.

If I can do that, then perhaps I might be able to get other things done soon that I'd really like or might need to do very soon, of course. Like my writing projects, for instance, Lord willing and all. Don't know if I'll be able to get at least one done in first-draft status by December, but I'm still going to try, for sure, in any case.
