The Firebirds had a great June. SP Honey is the current choice for AL Roty and Kool Kat, Rum Tum Tugger & Rebecca Hoffman need to hope she falls off a bit to steal it from her. The Birds have a ton of injuries right now but are getting great play from their current team. Brant, Hooch, Tipton, Addison Texiera.

We are 3-4 vs the Warriors this season.

The Warriors had a poor June but are having a great July riding a 5 game winning streak, We are also on a 5 game winning streak. While the Warriors have Black, Toro, Tam & Patty, their offense is near the bottom in the AL. If they add any offense to this team they can easily catch us again. Their pitching is amazing. Their pen is lights out. Braxton is having a great season.

I hated to get rid of Bobby but he is a liability in the field and has too many slumps these days. Porter still gives us great leadership and is a future HOFer he is hitting .293 vs LHP this season and that our only weakness this season. He will start at DH vs LHP and platoon at DH/1b with Anna, Hal & Mighty Joe.
I have the rotation set up with W. Johnson, Lurte & FW Johnson. All 3 pitch well vs Willowbrook.

Here is my 2034 EBL All Star ballot. Neither Walter Johnson nor Keith Wells were on the ballot. In years past i would vote for anyone not on my team, starting last season i started voting primarily for my own players.

AL

SP Lurte & Honey were more than deserving of my vote and Braxton is having a better season than Frog or Self.
RP I voted for the 3 best CL in the AL.
C Black is the best offensive C in the league and i didnt see McGee on the ballot.
1b - Young is the AL leading vote getter
2b Kat is questionable if he should make it or not as a rookie but he leads all 2b in WAR.
3b Hooch should make it
SS Snoopy is an MVP candidate
LF Anna is a Lf vs SS now and she is one of the top hitters
CF Brett leads all Cf in WAR.
RF Tigger is more than deserving
DH Lyric is having a great year.

NL
SP all 3 are having a great season
RP Davis is the best non CL in the NL with a 1.09 ERA in around 30 IP.
C Croatia is hitting over .400
1b I would have gone with Wells but Tree is great
2b Onyx is having a great season
3b The Mighty Quinn is one of the top 3 hitters in the EBL.

We took 2 of 3 @ Atlantis, swept @ Pontiac and took 2 of 3 @ Willowbrook. We are cruising but we still have issues in our pen.

We have 2 vs fading Highland and 3 vs surging Panasonic before the All star break. I have the rotation set for W. Johnson, Lurte, FW Johnson & Stupec to face Willowbrook after the ASG.
Jag, W. Johnson, Lurte & Stupec all have been great so far this month. Rooster, Wrigley & Jackman have been solid.

Trying to get Porter enough AB's to keep him happy might be difficult. I probably dont need him but trading him and a bullpen arm away for a prospect or a better bullpen arm should be easier than it would have been with Bobby. I'll miss Bobby. I drafted him in Ford, originally as a left handed throwing C but Juan stole C from him then I moved him to 1b. I made it a point to get him away from Brandywine when i came to Delgado in 2026. the Capitols fans will love him.

Rebecca, Joe & Anna have all struggled so far this month. I changed the lineup a bit. Brett has been great hitting 3rd, so hes there for now. Tigger has been solid when hitting 5th. Porter will platoon at 1b & DH vs RHP and start at DH vs LHP.

1b/DH Chris Porter #30
Chris comes over from Endor City after spending most of his career with Anderson. He has over 500 HR and close to 2300 Hits. He is a 1st ballot HOFer. He can still get it down and is 3rd in the AL in RBI. He gives us a much needed high avg, mega power bat vs LHP. His leadership and experience will fit right in with Brett, Tigger & Juan.
