Located in Parker Colorado, the Wolverines boast 2 active professional baseball players, P's Jakob Hernandez in the Phillies organization and Max Kuhns with the Mets. Neither of these guys have played MLB yet.

Located in Littleton Colorado, the Chargers and Columbine Rebels are fierce rivals. Little did I know, but none other than LenDale White is alumni. As for baseball, Chatfield has produced 9 professional players and two MLB players. Current Minnesota Twins RP Taylor Rogers is alumni.

Mullen High School Mustangs
Out of Denver Colorado. The Mustangs have won state championships in 1978 and 1985, and also have what many are said to believe is the states top rivalry with the team I will post next, Cherry Creek High School. 14 professional players have come from Mullen, including 3 MLB players. Current Mets minor leaguer Sam Haggerty is alumni.

Cherry Creek High School Bruins
Out of Englewood Colorado. The Bruins are a Colorado prep baseball powerhouse, winning 8 state championships, with an unprecedented 5 straight from 1995 to 1999, and a recent one in 2012. The Bruins baseball program has produced 35 professional careers including 8 making it into MLB. Notable MLB players from Cherry Creek include David Aardsma, Josh Bard, Brad Lidge and Darnell McDonald.

Legacy High School Lightning
Out of Broomfield Colorado. Legacy High School was founded in 2000, and since then the baseball program has produced 13 players to play in the next levels of baseball, including 4 professionally. Legacy has two active players playing minor league ball, P Tejay Antone with the Reds and Lucas Gilbreath who was a 7th round pick in 2017 with the Rockies.

Pomona High School Panthers
Out of Arvada Colorado. The Panthers claimed the 5A baseball championship in 2003, and that team had pitcher Kyle Winters who went on to be drafted in the 5th round straight out of Pomona by the Florida Marlins in 2005. The Panthers have yet to produce a Major League player.

ThunderRidge High School Grizzlies
Located in Highlands Ranch Colorado. The ThunderRidge baseball team won their first state championship for 5A in 2004. In 2013 the Grizzlies captured their second state championship with a 2–1 victory over Rocky Mountain High School. ThunderRidge finished as the only undefeated team in the state tournament that year.
Current Rockies minor league pitcher and Dartmouth standout Mitch Horacek is alumni. |
