Three down and just one more to go and the Rolling Hills Racers will capture their record-setting 7th IPA Pro Cup Trophy... the Racers whipped the Claxton Diamonds 5-3 in the fourth game of the Pro Cup Series... all they need is one more victory... Claxton, on the other hand, has to win all three of the remaining games to prevail.

Mark Meisner is the best pitcher in the Islandian Pro Alliance.
Russell Krohn and Shelly Grice are solid starters, too.

It would not be impossible for these three pitchers to beat Rolling Hills... but it will be hard to do.

What makes Rolling Hills better this year is they have better pitching than in the past decade... couple that with the best batting order 1 to 8 in IPA history and you have a very potent ballclub.

CLAXTON STAYS ALIVE... CRUSHES ROLLING HILLS IN GAME 5 ROUT... CUTS RACERS' LEAD TO 3 GAMES TO 2... SERIES RETURNS TO ROLLING HILLS
An 8-run second inning said it all yesterday at Avalon Stadium in Claxton as the hometown Diamonds sparkled with a 13-2 shellacking of the Pro Cup favorite Rolling Hills Racers... the two clubs will head to Rolling Hills for the final two games of the Pro Cup Series... the Diamonds have to win them both to take the overall IPA crown, while the Racers just have to win one of the games.

In another stunning reversal of fortune, the Claxton Diamonds have again ravaged the mighty Rolling Hills Racers and could be the first team in over 50 years to come back from a 3-1 deficit in the IPA Pro Cup Finals... The Claxton express is really rolling, bats and all... shades of 2064 all over again.

But game seven is another day... maybe the Racers can suck it up and rebound... the mark of all champions is to forget yesterday and not let it affect today... learn from your mistakes, failures and defeats, but don't dwell on them.

I hope they each play their best and the best team wins.

I'm going with Claxton in Game 7. Rolling Hills has to be feeling the pressure, and they can't be all that confident after being blown out 13-2 and 15-2 in successive games. However, as Earl Weaver is credited with saying, "Momentum is only as good as the next day's starter”.

Wonders never cease in the Islandian Pro Alliance and miracles still happen... Rolling Hills was almost down-and-out and on the verge of defeat in the seventh game of the IPA Pro Cup Series, when they remarkably rebounded with 8 runs in the last 3 innings to shock the Claxton Diamonds 9-8.
