Perfect week. With the exception of Fisher, Jones & Bibby everyone is having a great year. Fred Jones might be demoted after the all star game. Baines says that we have yet to call up a middle If and doesn't want to leave the bench weak in case there is an injury nearer the playoffs. Also while Jones hits LHP he can not hit RHP. He is batting around .160 0 HR 1 RBI vs RHP. Not sure who will comes up. With Thomas back both Bodine & Mack can play 3B.

Lee is a rookie LHP reliever. He has many roles on the White Sox. He has pitched in long relief, setup, Closer and Leftie Specialist. He can do it all which is in part why he made the all star team as a rookie & as a MR which rarely make all star teams. He grew up idolizing Matt Thornton.

Grigori didn't start playing baseball until he was 30 after serving 12 years in the Russian Special Forces. He had a good rookie year in 2015 but struggled in 2016 with injuries and playing at AAA. 2017 he was injured for part of the season. He is a mentor to teammate Anatoly Krimov.

Jim Kanter is the 1st EBL pitcher to win his 350th Game. Kanter is 7 wins better then John Williams and 15 better then teammate Bob Bellias. 400 might be within his grasp at age 34. He is also 18-0 although Tom Petson at 18-0 has a lower ERA.
Looks like Dan Toner will be out for the remainder of the season. He has been out since May.

How Acq: Drafted in 2016.
Tregger like his friend Lee Regger is enjoying a solid rookie campaign. Tregger is a big part of the White Sox success which is leading the AL in bullpen ERA.
Tregger has been solid setup man since being called up earlier this year.

None of the races for 1st are close this year in the EBL. Most interesting thing about the EBL this year is that Tom Petson & Jim Kanter are both 18-0. Kevie Oko is batting .425, .419 is the single season brecord by SS Kevin France in 2004.

The Endor Baseball league will expand by 2 teams in 2019 and 2 teams in 2020. Ewok Village & Pine Tree will cease baseball operations and will be replaced by 2 new cities.
The expansion teams for 2019 are:
Cloud City Thrantas - Owner, Lando Calrissian. Lando currently owns 35% of the Endor City Capitals and will sell his stock in the team following the 2018 season. Since Cloud City in the state of Bespin is very much like Cloud City on the planet of Bespin, the new park will be a dome and will be the highest altitude park in the EBL. Calrissianswill be in the top 5 of richest owners

Delgado Lions - Owner, Hector "Shipwreck" Delgado
Hector Delgado bought 12 square miles of unincorporated land on the outskirts of Rock City in 2014, he then bought 5 square miles of Rock City itself. Since 2015 Delgado has been the Confederacy's fastest growing city and is around 1.1 million residents. The Lions will play in the Lions Den, modeled after Comerica in Detroit Delgado is expected to be middle of teh pack of richest owners.

Both Cloud City & Delgado will join the American League.

2020 expansion teams:
Gotham City Batmen - Owner, Wayne Industries CEO Bruce Wayne
Gotham City is Endors largest city at just a shade over 12 million residents. They have had a EFL (Rogues) & EBA (Jokers) team since 2003 and a EHL team since 2010 (Penguins). The Batmen will play in Wayne Field, modeled after Yankee Stadium II. Bruce Wayne is expected to be the 3rd richest owner behind King Cindaar, LV & Motti Jensen, GB

Paradise City Roses - Owner, Charles Foster Kane Sr. Kane is the biggest media mogul on Endor and owns news sites on Earth, Mars, Coruscant & Naboo. Paradise City is just as its name indicates, paradise. It is usually warm around 85 degrees and has very little rain during the baseball season. The Roses will play in Charles Foster Kane Stadium modeled after Chavez Ravine in LA. Kane is top 10 as far as richest EBL owners.

With both Ewok Village Ewoks & Pine Tree Wookies folding, The EBl decided to award 2 new expansion teams to:
Skywalker Jedi Knights - Owner, Jedi Council, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker
Luke Skywalker says he plans on managing this team for 3 seasons. They will play in Jedi Park, modeled after New Comiskey Park. The Jedi Council is expected to be among the least richest owners.

Ford Thunderbirds - Owners, Jim & John Higgins. The Higgins brothers played for the original Ford Thunderbirds 2003 - 2014 until they become the Pine Tree Wookies in 2015. They will play in old Ford Field which was the old Thunderbirds park. They are expected to be in the lower half of richest owners.

Ford, Skywalker & Paradise City will be in the National League. Gotham City will be in the American League. It will be interesting to see how much back to back expansion drafts dilute the EBL talent.

3 games vs Yankees. I really dont get hy this team is so bad. They have SP who are just having terrible seasons i guess. Dock, King Felix, Hudson & Hicks are all proven winners. On offense Rostoff, Krimov, Uncle Phil, Big Ben Bennett are all good players. Maybe next year.
