I know this question is probably answered somewhere on these boards, but I can't find it. Will you please give me a quick summary of the process used to import these rosters into my league once the file is downloaded?

Thanks.

once you d/l it, just unzip it to your OOTP 6 folder and it should go, if you are still having issues, send me an email (duckfart76@comcast.net) or hit me up on PM on here and i will walk you through it from there

thanks, i'll try it out when i get home. when i first did it, i unzipped it into a league folder. i'm assuming that was incorrect.

no you dont need to unzip it to a league folder UNLESS you want it under a certain league that you have already started and you are just using this roster set to overwrite the players that are already there...if so then you would want to extract it to a certain folder

well there is a couple websites that have their own scouting reports but i dont use them very often. here is a post from earlier that will pretty much answer all your questions about how i came up with my ratings

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...5&pagenumber=3

Now some people may think that the way i come up with my ratings is wrong but this is a solo league file and these ratings can be manipulated to suit each player. I tried to add the real numbers and contracts amounts but some are a little off.....i have also tried to add the real numbers of the prospects and rookies....the update will contain some noticeable changes to include added positions and some more player histories (not all of them because they are a pain in the butt). The new file will also contain (hopefully) all the top prospects for each team and should roughly have at least 65-70 rookies for each team that way there can be lots of trading and more player options. The new one will also contain some finacial adjustments as some teams had no cash (still wondering WHAT the hell happened there)

halofan26, are you updating the OOTP5 version of your roster set as well? I would love to see them done as well. Thanks for your hard work.

Which one on the website is the updated file? I downloaded the one marked UPDATED 5/1/04 and it still had the old mistakes of the Baltimore Diamondbacks, etc.

Thanks!

great Job

all teams cash in front office is set to 25 mil

so i recommend in league setup to change the default cash max of 10 mil to higher than 25 mil.....most say 30-50 mil is a good setting to have it on...
