I really can't believe that Pat is this fitterer character. I talked to Pat whenever I saw him online and he did not seem immature at all and whenever there was a problem he would deal with it with maturity. I just don't think I can believe that he'd do this. The website is hard to explain. I don't know if he copied the coding or asked to use it but from what I was told by him, he did it himself. Which leads to the idea that he is Mr. Fitterer. I hate to be against Pat but I talked to him alot and that is what he had told me. If the websites are nearly identical then it's pretty hard to deny. I do know he used DreamWeaver to make his site, I'm not too sure if Fitterer could use the same program and have the 2 sites look alike? Who the hell knows.
After all the times I spoke with him online, he never mentioned anything to me about leaving. In the GFBL his name is Pat Smith. After running whois.net on his domain, it comes up as Pat Casey. I'm the Indians in BTPBL and I'm the one that called the number that popped up. What was odd was when I asked for Pat the person immediately asked who I was. I don't know many people that do that if you've got the right number. So either it was the right number and assumed I was from BTPBL or it was just a nosey SOB. No clue what else to do but everything is a bit odd now isn't it. I hope Kayber from WGB still has the file that he gave Pat so he could take over the league. He simmed 1 time, I caught up on him and only .5 games back (in September) and that was it. Haven't heard from him since. If anybody knows anything at all, IM me on AIM.

Why don't you get a hold of me on AIM then?
Also, what team did you tell me you would like to be in OOTP sometime.

Since you're claiming to be Pat, what team did you tell ME you'd like to be in an OOTP league?
And why haven't you IM'd me yet? You obviously know who I am and would have my AIM name.

I love how people create brand new aliases, just so people don't know who they are, so they can create trouble. Cookin' the Books I tell ya.

Actually, I've never posted here before, anyone in any of my leagues that have my AIM can message me if they like to confirm this is me.
I'm just not convinced that's Pat yet...

the easiest way to clear it up would be to see a post from UDFlyer. Simple as that

This reminds me of a movie that starts slow at first and even is slightly boring. But then you get a small smattering of events that start to attract your attention and you start watching closer. Then as things start to reach a crescendo and even peter out, you get slapped broadside by a twist that has you going "holy s__t!"

Geez...I had afeeling this league wan't going to turn out well, which is a shame because I put a lot of time into building a good team. Earlier in the season, someone came to me on AIM with evidence that he was simming ahead and toggling injuries on and off. This is what caused the injuries problem. This guy also contacted another member in the league and confronted 'Pat' about it. In what now seems to be a mistake, the other owner who was contacted and I declined to inform the rest of the league in hopes that 'Pat' would play it straight after being confronted. Too many things indicate that the cheating did not cease...the Cubs had no significant injuries, they won the world series, some contract extensions were erased, problems with the free agency file and teams signing free agents that they never gave offers to.
It's a shame because there are a lot of good owners in the league that have put a lot of time into the league. |
