Saved file I did accidentally name it “2024” but is indeed a roster set for 2025.

I have not advanced days of in-game beyond 11/6 since doing so would not allow the user to utilize the training/development of players in offseason. I’ve considered it and may still do it at some point, but that is reason date is still 11/6

Are you on Mac or Windows?

You'll want to be sure you are selecting the right "Saved games" folder under the correct version/year of the game (OOTP 25).

I am currently logged in with the updated file but have no control over a team...how do you gain control of a team

I'll field this one

As far as I can tell, you go to the "available jobs" under the manager section and it allows you to take any team in MLB (or minor leagues, etc) but you have to be in commissioner mode
I have not yet found a way in which you can have it generate offers for you uniquely each time, without activating CM. I hope that becomes possible tho

go to your manager tab at top of your game screen and scroll down and click, Act as... section and presto! but have to be in commissioner mode...to access commissioner mode, go to manager option....now presto!

Hey gang,

Plan will be to release another update in the next week or so.

Still waiting for Sasaki, Bregman, Santander and others to sign.
Sasaki prob should know next few days.

As always I’m constantly checking/updating/tinkering.

For instance one change is I had DJ Herz WAS from a RP to a SP with his Steamer/ZIPs projections. As I see things I’ve missed I update. Also things with prospects and others.

I’ve also went through and updated injuries and all arbitration cases settled thus far.

Just noticed this...so I d/l and inserted gmo's 2025 schedule and noticed that teams are playing games the Monday before all-star game....is this a glitch because I noticed from MLB schedule, there are no games scheduled on that Monday?

Yeah I believe the “original” version is off by a day.
The adjusted version will get games on the right day. The opening series overseas is folded in to regular season versus starting a week early

Hey gang!!

BIG updates coming soon. Still planning to release next few days.

Updates include:

- Updates around 1500 players options and MLB service time. This is HUGE. Many players are off. I used an export from Fangraphs depth charts to update.
- I’ve moved up the league date to 1/14/25, which is preseason start. With that said I am able to push in the MLB 2025 schedule!
- I already have placed the top 50 or so IAFA on proper teams. I may try to get in 51-100. TBD.

FYI above are all in! So file will have the top ~100 IAFA assigned to the correct teams. For some of these players if I could not find date of birth I defaulted to 1/1/2008. Baseball America at least had some scouting reports for all of them, some more detailed than others.

I’m now going to review some of the depth charts to see if some minors/NRI are on correct teams.

I’d expect the next update to be released around the time Sasaki announcement….hopefully soon!

I'm so excited!!! Will you be making any staff changes (personality changes, changing Sam Fuld to Preston Mattingly or Zoll in Minnesota, etc) or purely players

Hey gang!!
I am zipping and uploading file - should be up hopefully next 5-10 mins!!

- Updated free agent signings/trades as of 1-17

- Update REAL MLB schedule loaded. As noted a few posts earlier I had to use the “adjusted” schedule that rolls in the early 2 game series to regular season.

- Top ~ 100 IAFA in game with potentials that reflect Baseball America scouting reports

- With the Athletics and Rays playing in smaller minor league parks for 2025 I would suggest putting around $10-15M to them in cash each offseason since attendance will be significantly capped versus regular MLB parks.

- Tried to place all NRI’s on correct rosters.


*** BEFORE YOU START YOUR SEASON GO TO SETTINGS AND ALLOW CPU TEAMS TO MAKE AI MOVES. This is disabled currently so I could move players around freely.
