Here's an idea: Say I want curved text for the top text, and straight text for the bottom. There's no way to do that currently that I could see. Is that something that could be added? Maybe have a setting for each text for amount of curvature?

biggerme, follow this tutorial. It's for uniforms but it's made by eqigjaffe and uses the same methods to install and use.

Another minor issue I've come across: When I switch from the default Roundel to another shape, when adding text, that text isn't set at size 40, it's something smaller. So if you change the 40 up or down, the text suddenly becomes much larger. Not a big deal, but if you're looking to squash as many bugs as possible, there's one more.

Also, would it be possible to separate the text rotation for the top and bottom text? Sometimes the top text will need to be rotated a couple degrees, but then that throws off the bottom text. If we could rotate them separately, it would be quite helpful, at least to me. Thanks for considering all my suggestions.

Version 0.2.3 has been released!

What's New
  • The top and bottom text elements can now be rotated individually when using the circle and roundel shapes.
  • The "decorations" can also be rotated separately from the text, although they are still linked to each other.
  • The decorations now have an optional stroke, set to transparent by default.
  • Each shape has its own set of controls. The colors are still set for all shapes, but things like the text size, spacing, baseline, etc are all per shape.
What's Fixed
  • Fixed an issue where some text elements weren't respecting the color controls.

Thanks for adding in those features.

One little issue seems to have arisen with this version: After creating a logo, when I reload, the LA monograms come up on the default roundel, and I can't get them to go away without restarting the program. I've tried repeatedly reloading, but that doesn't seem to do any good.

For the decorations, it would be nice to be able to move them closer into the middle from the default position. Sometimes if I'm using an image graphic, the default position just isn't right, so it would be nice to be able to adjust them a bit.

Version 0.2.4 has been released!

What's New
  • Added a menu option to check for updates. I don't expect there to be many updates, but at least you can check from the app now. 😄

eriqjaffe, great tool. I'm creating a new fictional league so I will be using it. Made some logos already. What is the best way to use the colors? I'd like it to save the color swatches when I change tabs from the jersey and the pants and socks for one team. Then use them for away and alternate uniforms. I'm sure the logo maker is the same. I don't want to copy and paste hex values from tab to tab.

ccroland71, for windows click on OOTP.Logo.Maker_0.2.4_Windows_setup.exe. Portable one if you prefer. For Macs click on OOTP.Logo.Maker_0.2.4_macOS.dmg. Don't know how to install Mac files. Double click on the downloaded file and install it. Follow the prompts. Twins_34 made videos on how to use this program. https://www.youtube.com/@thedoctor7949

You're really asking about the Uniform Maker there, but colors you choose are supposed to show up on all of the color picker elements throughout the program regardless of which tab you're on, although it's never worked ideally.

This is a great tool! Quick question though: Has anyone run into this issue I am having on the monogram part where if you have a second letter in the monogram (the "A" as the default for "LA"), it does not allow you to confirm that you've chosen a new color? I just can't change the color and it's driving me insane! Is there a workaround for this?

I believe I have found the issue, hopefully I'll be able to get an update out tomorrow.

Ha! Only took me maybe 45 minutes to fix and then 123 days to remember to actually build the executables
