The Braves made it somewhat interesting in the 9th, but the Dodgers broke their losing streak with a 12-8 victory.

Jack Lapp collected five hits while Bob Bescher homered and tripled.

With the losing streak monkey off their backs, the Dodgers came out and pummelled the Braves, beating them 10-1.

Sam Crawford went 4 for 6, driving in 3.

The Dodgers led the whole way but John McCloskey couldn't hold the Pirates in the 9th and they got the 5-4, walk-off win to stop the Brooklyn winning streak.

The two teams combined for 37 hits and six errors, meaning a lot of base runners.

But it was two errors by Sam Crawford that made the difference as the Pirates walked off the Dodgers, 10-9.

Jose Deleon went 3 for 3 with two walks an a home run shy of the cycle.
