Silva has definitely good striking and won a legitimate boxing match against a legitimate opponent while being very old. I'd be confident in making his boxing rating higher than I normally would for a crossover fighter.

yeah he did pretty well from what I read in his 1st boxing match. For years there was talk about him boxing Roy Jones but I think Dana White always prevented it from happening.

Oh yes I recall him, think it was an SI article about him & his sad end, ravaged by whatever roids he took.

Another goofy historical figure- Miyamoto Musashi. The legendary sword duelist has no direct connection to boxing-except that prizefighting (a continent away from him of course) started as sword dueling as well. Made him a boxer who has an iffy chin if his opponent can land a solid hit-with an emphasis on if they can.

Another Sure Bet King fighter, this is the mentioned Earl Teal, a heavyweight champion whose mind was not at the level of his body, squandering his gigantic earnings and ending up committing suicide.

One of the tallest women basketball players ever, given boxing stats by me in a "what if" where she went the Valuev route. Has a chin and some strength but not much else.

Early 20th Century legend Annie Newton, reportedly the greatest women's boxer of her time and an apparent legend when it came to accurate punching. This is a rather, er... generous view of her stats. Oh well.

Margo was such a gentle soul. It's hard to imagine her in a combat sport.

The next hypothetical boxer is someone who was definitely not a gentle soul. "Legendary" British naval officer and enthusiastic boxer Robert Arbuthnot, who had a "reputation" and got himself and over a thousand other people killed at Jutland when he charged the entire German fleet.
