By the way, to make the puck easier to see, I've been experimenting with this. Adding a slight red glow around the puck makes it easier to see for sure. However, the original puck is 12x12 and the glowing puck is 30x30.

This will run fine in the game. I am just not sure whether this will break the game, affecting stats or whatever. To the program, the puck is now almost 3 times the size. Would scoring be much lower? Or maybe it doesn't matter because the 2D graphics is only a presentation layer and the real code underneath still works as intended.

I will run some tests today just to be sure it's safe to use for everyone, ha ha ha.

You could try using this puck. It maintains the original size. I'm going to give it a test run.

For the retro version, is there any way to create them for these 4 historical teams?

Minnesota North Stars
Hartford Whalers
Atlanta Thrashers
Winnipeg Jets (1990s edition)

Completely understand if it is a no, but wanting to replay some 1990s hockey and would love to have these if at all possible.

No problem. It will take a bit of time though. Things are getting busy with work.

Hey Flying_Canuck, I just downloaded the icons for my Quebec Nordiques franchise and they are AWESOME. Can't believe what a difference it makes. Transforms the entire 2d experience. Much gratitude sent your way from this Whaler-less Connecticut abode.

Glad to see you guys loving the icons. I am looking forward to the day (or year) when these little hockey players can actually skate and shoot. When that happens, my icons will be obsolete but I'll be the happiest guy in the world! Dev team please please please still allow us to customize players. Being able to get accurate looking uniform on the ice is so important.

Anyway, I'll be working on more retro icon whenever I can. Should be able to share Minnesota and Hartford later this week. While I am at it, of course I need to do my Canucks' black and gold uniform from the 90s. Please stay tuned.

Those are incredibly well done! Thanks a lot! Could you do the ‘80’s Kings please? (At some point ). The one with yellow/purple. I’m now using the Nashville one for them Canucks ‘80’s would be nice too though they are a lot like the ‘90 unis.

I actually started working on the late 60s expansion teams and the yellow/purple Kings was one of the teams. This set is not exactly the same as the 80s when they changed the shoulder and sleeve a little bit but it's close enough. You can use these for now:

LA Kings 60s

Here are the reversed color in case anyone would like to use yellow at home instead of purple:

More teams from NHL's first expansion era. Teams wore color at home but I also included the home white and away color option

Oakland Seals 60s

Reversed option

Pittsburgh Penguins 60s

Reversed option

The reversed option is a great idea. That way we can use the classic jerseys in the modern era. Win-win!
