George Springer went 3 for 4 with a home run and Hyun-jin Ryu took a shut out into the 9th as the Jays downed the Braves, 7-2.

Bo Bichette also homered for Toronto.

Marcus Semien had a nice game, going 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, but it came in a losing effort as the Jays fell 7-5 to the Braves.

Toronto also saw a homer from Lourdes Gurriel Jr.

Merrill Kelly pitched well, but the Jays were trailing when he left. A Giancarlo Stanton home run gave them he lead but Kirby Yates blew the save for the 4th time this year. The Jays got there, though, as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. scored on a Jose Alvarado wild pitch in the 11th to give Toronto a 4-3 win over the Phillies.

Guerrero also homered.

What a roller-coaster 9th inning! Kirby Yates blew the save in the top of the 9th, going up the lead to Boston, only for George Springer to hit a walk-off home run on the bottom half to give the Jays a 7-6 win!

In what could be much worse news, earlier in the game, Nick Pivetta hit Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in the head with a pitch. Guerrero was helped off the filed and we have no idea how serious it is.

Cavan Biggio also homered for Toronto.
