I just imported Babe Ruth (1918) into the draft pool. He's there. I simmed ahead to the First-Year Player Draft. He's still there.

Now I did the same thing with Hank Aaron (1958). He's there in the draft pool.

for my league, there's nothing to sim ahead to, it's a day one draft for all teams

How are you simming ahead to the draft? My draft is starting on day 1, Jan, 1 of the season when the game populates

In importing players, the following had the wrong race (usually defaulting to Caucasian but ought to be African). The minor or major league bref code is shown so as to identify the player best. Thanks!

Playing career mode starting in 1920 w/real Minors and Negro Leagues. I noticed LeRoy "Ben" Taylor, a promising 17 yr old with Real Life Stats back to age 7.

The RL stats belong to Benjamin Harrison Taylor, HOFer born in 1888 and one the four great Taylor brothers who were pioneers of black baseball.

Was going to play a historical series between 2003 Braves and 1988 Mets. I notice Julio Franco is not on Braves roster. Matt Franco is, which is correct, but Julio was important part of that club as well. Thanks

I assume you're referring to Historical Exhibition mode.

For some reason, Julio Franco is not included on the 2003 Braves roster. I see no reason why he didn't get listed on the Opening Day or End of Season rosters for 2003. He's listed on a roster every other season that he played in real life. But not 2003. Even when I add him to the OD and EOS roster files for 2003, he still does not show up in the game when I use Historical Exhibition mode and choose the 2003 Braves. However, he does show up for the Braves if I create a regular 2003 historical league.

I. Am. Stumped.

ETA: I used Historical Exhibition mode and chose the 2004 Braves. This time, Franco is there. So, why not 2003? I have no idea.

In the database as Vernon Benson. Appears to be the same player as "Randy Benson" on BB-Ref. The stats match, but the birthdates don't. Rectify?

grossge01 George Grosart imports with an extra "s" in his name (Grossart). Even though the bRef ID implies two "s"', there is only one "s" in his actual name per bRef. Also checked his gravestone and it is one "s".

I am playing a historical simulation beginning in the 1977 season that crashes on April 8th, 2000. I've tried numerous ways to get past this date, but have had no luck in doing so.

I am playing OOTP 22.6, Build 56, on a Windows 10 system.

I would like to continue this game, if possible. I have played as many as 33 seasons at a trot in the past.

The ftp instructions are current as far as I know, but this is not the right thread for an issue like this.

The quickest way to get help would be to open a support ticket or via email at support@ootpdevelopments.com
