Kalamazoo Wings 1976-84

Jersey worn by for several years by the former IHL club, including the back-to-back champs in 1979 and 1980.

Hershey Bears 1979-87?

I'm a little sketchy on the years this was used, but this is an authentic representation of what they wore around that time period.

Lansing Lancers 1974-75

Lansing's extremely short-lived IHL entry, only lasting a little over half a season (41 games).

Binghamton Whalers

What they wore, with minor changes, for their entire 1980-1990 run.

Fredericton Express 1981-82 and 1982-88

The first season look featured a circle around the logo of this Nordiques affiliate.

Erie Blades 1981-82

The only year in the AHL for this Pittsburgh and Boston affiliate before moving to Baltimore to become the Skipjacks.

Alternate default_jersey

Here's a little something for your free agents if you're tired of seeing those plain white duds.

Salem Raiders 1980-81

The previously mentioned Utica Mohawks moved to Salem, VA to become the Salem Raiders for the 1980-81 season. Jersey is a guesstimate based on team colors and the previous Utica jersey.

Springfield Indians 1980-81

Their one year as the Bruins' main farm club.

Syracuse Hornets 1980-81

Since this team lasted only 10 games (0-9-1, giving up 99 goals!), I couldn't find an actual pic of their uniform. So, while the logo is real, the rest is a guess.

Indianapolis Checkers 1979-1984

Around the same era that the New York Islanders had their dynasty, their farm club, the Indianapolis Checkers, had a little mini dynasty of their own going, winning back-to-back CHL titles in 1982 and 1983, and losing in the finals in the league's last season, 1984.

Cincinnati Tigers 1981-82

A nice sharp look for this CHL one-year wonder, with colors honoring the WHA Stingers and AHL Swords.

Nashville South Stars 1981-84

The CHL's other one-and-done entry for the 1981-82 season, although they did carry on for another year and a half in the ACHL before becoming the Virginia Lancers.

The aforementioned relocated South Stars. Yes, they really did just snip a piece off the "N" logo. No, this is accurate, they didn't even bother to center it. I'm not joking.

Low-level minor-league hockey is a helluva drug.

Baltimore Skipjacks 1981-82

After moving from the EHL to the ACHL, the Baltimore Clippers changed their name to Skipjacks. They'd keep their old Clippers colors, but only for one season, since they replaced the Erie Blades as Pittsburgh's AHL affiliate the next year, donning the Penguin black, gold, and white.

Mohawk Valley Stars 1981-85

ACHL member for the entire 1981-1987 run, although they changed their name to Comets for the last two seasons.

Winston-Salem Thunderbirds 1981-82

They played the inaugural ACHL season under this moniker before becoming the Carolina Thunderbirds for the rest of the AHL's run. They would then play their first ECHL season as Carolina before becoming...the Winston-Salem Thunderbirds. Make up your minds, guys! The logo is real, the jerseys are fictional, since I couldn't find any good pics.

Cape Cod Buccaneers

Vince McMahon's foray into hockey, which lasted less than a full season. WWF/E pirates Jean-Pierre Lafitte and Paul Burchill would no doubt be pleased with the logo. Jerseys are a guesstimate based on logo colors and black & white pics.

Springfield Indians 1981-82

Yet another of the many looks of the Springfield Indians, this one for their year as a New York Rangers farm club.

Another design for the IHL mainstays.
