Since all 3 teams are in a funk anyway, i'm going to try something different on all of them - one of them your suggestion above.

No, not a troll. It's just that I think I owe it to myself to try and do this on my own rather than have a set of instructions.

Since i was on the verge of dropping the teams for the rest of the year anyway, I'll try 3 different approaches and see if anything clicks. Thanks for your comments - really.

Could have sworn the OP started a similar thread just a few days ago. Déjà vu.

Last year one of the big complaints was that teams unprepared or just plain not good enough for the long haul in Perfect couldn't get relegated. Got beat up every week by "whales", couldn't generate PP. So Pyramid built, competition evened out. The stats are out there, if you were a borderline Perfect team in 20, you are in probably in Silver in 21. On the positive side, if you are bouncing between levels every week, that means at least every other week you are dominating your level and generating more PP. Better than getting beat up in Perfect every week, I would think.

On the other side, those teams in Diamond and Perfect have good competition now. Last year it all depended on Monday placement. In Perfect you just had to look at the league on Monday and depending on RNG, you had some competition as a whale team (seldom) or a halfway decent chance as a borderline team because you landed in a league completely devoid of whales (even more seldom). Otherwise you probably just went autopilot that week.

What people haven't mentioned or I missed, I could see it getting boring for "big" players having dozens of PL titles playing the '27 Yankees vs slow-pitch softball teams week after week. Sure, there are some who just want to get the medals no matter how weak the competition, but I think there many more who value good competition every week. And these players (whether $$$ or FTP) have that this year. It is just as important to keep these people involved throughout the year.

I think they made huge strides this year with the league structure. For all players.
