Buffalo Zenths got tossed around a bit in the first year in Diamond with a 70-92 record. Did pull a 96 McGuire on the last week of the season, so he will be inserted at 1B, Bagwell to DH so that is 1 improvement. Otherwise its a long grind to open packs and/or save PP for any upgrades.
Sars Beach lost in the LCS in 7 games, going in with a nice player advantage. Ruins the 3-peat hopes. Finished the Live Missions following the playoffs so sitting pretty for Bronze Gashouse Gorillas won the Iron League going 11-1 in the playoffs

All three of my FTP teams were in Gold Leagues for 2030, their rosters about 80% the same, consisting of the usual suspects among the Live Collections rewards plus whatever diamonds and perfects they have pulled from packs.
The Chickaluma Cluckers earned the ignominy of suffering the worst regular season record of all of my teams so far at 69-93 and were relegated to Silver, also a first. The team won their Silver division in 2029 with a worse team, so I expect the 2031 roster to dominate Silver this time around. The Trollskull Alley Irregulars stayed above average for most of the season before stumbling to an 81-81 finish. They didn't add much to the team over the course of the year, as they're in the middle of some long-term development that will take a few seasons to play out and the tournament packs yielded zero diamonds last week. Los Plagas Perros won their Gold division with virtually the same roster that almost got relegated to Silver the year before, showing how much results can swing from year to year. They are the first of the three teams to reach Diamond but expect to be relegated back to Gold next year, as they too are in the early stages of a long-term rebuild and scored only one decent card from packs this week--a Justin Verlander Live card that posted a negative WAR in 2030. With the Live missions completed, all three teams are in a holding pattern, hovering in the Silver/Gold/Diamond zone until they pull some game-changing cards or amass enough PP to make some meaningful roster upgrades.
